You control a big circle and your job is to collect other, smaller circles and trap them in your loop. Don't hate, it's actually fun.

In Loop Collector mode, that's your only goal. Collect other loops before time runs out.

In Obstacle Course mode, you must collect loops on your way to a goal. Avoid all the bad objects on your way (you can tell they are bad objects, because they have no-no strips), or you will lose some of the loops you've collected.

In Enemy Fighters mode, you are the boss in a shooter game. The players will come in with their many, many, many, many ships and try to kill you. In addition to avoiding the regular bad objects, don't get hit with a bullet or run into an enemy ship. If they touch your main circle, it's game over, man, game over. Luckily, the loops you have collected will shoot back, although they have considerably worse aim than your opponents (you are a boss, after all).

In addition to the game modes above, don't forget to check out all three themes! Additionally, we offer colorblind assist mode to provide better distinction between loops and a grayscale mode in case you REALLY don't want color.

First of all, you did a good job about the graphics ! It can be really colorfull and even with the sober theme, it's still really cool

During "Loop Collector", it could be great that the Camera moves back to allow us to see our form that we created with the loops and let us see where we can go to find another loops (like in Agar.io)

In the "Obstacle Course" I didn't understand if I needed to go the Goal fast or if I needed to find loops and to go to the Goal.. We're unbeatable, so I just run over the obstacles to reach the goal without thinking about the loop.. Maybe moving the camera back to allow us to see the obstacles and being beatable by obstacles could render the course more interesting !

The "Enemy Fighters" mode is pretty fun, I succeed to stay alive during 55.42s by running on the edges of the map

You did a good job ! Good game ! :v:

Complex for a Jam game. Art style is really good, and the game mode variation is quite fun.

I think that it could be a great base for a full game

@lu7cie Just as a note, in case you happen to see this and want to play again: I guess we weren't too clear (we stuck with the short sentence of instructions partially because of time), but your total score at the end of the obstacle course was a combination of both how fast you got there and how many loops you had (and it actually took into account the shape of the loops to an extent). So it was meant to be a sort of balance, having to decide if it was worth the time to go get more loops or not.

Love the visuals here. It creates a nice 'game feel.' Good job!

Interesting game, the graphics are gorgeous and it does fit the theme, but I feel like I might be missing how the loop ties into the gameplay in a way that isn't purely visual. Either way good entry!

Graphics are cool, but the difficulty ramps up quite fast when playing boss mode, it gets really hard quickly. But I still had fun playing this game. Congrats !

Attractive game. Tried all gamemodes with all types of graphics. Looks cool, smoothly playable. I would add the button of changing spinning direction - it would diversify gameplay for enemies mode.

Very nice visuals, it's a shame each level only really takes about half a minute or so. Personally I would have liked it more if instead of having 3 separate modes, you start off on the first one and the game gradually becomes more difficult as it spawns obstacles/enemies to avoid. Right not it's kind of annoying that I have to restart every 30 seconds when I want to play the first mode.

The audio is great though, and the menu's feel very well created and polished. Great entry overall!

Well, there is a commendable effort there. I like the Spirograph vibe to it, the game fits the theme pretty well and the graphics are pretty solid.

Now for the "game" part, I'm not as convinced. I feel the game tried to conform too much to normal game standards (score attack, obstacles and survival). I think the game would have been way more interesting if the player could simply draw anything he wants, without any goals in particular.

Other than that, this 72h job is pretty clean!

It looks absolutely ***gorgeous***, even the main menu, I love it. ^^ I like the music too. The awesome feel is there. The idea is great, although the gameplay itself feels kinda lacking. Still a *great job*, tho.

I've found an ***exploit*** in the *Enemy Fighters* mode: you can hide behind the edge and the enemies and their bullets won't be able to reach you (not indefinately, but for a while). Furthermore, you can walk in **LOOPS** around the map, and they won't catch you until your computer gives up *(how thematically, maybe it's intentional after all, haha)*.

@aflatthrasher Yeah I understand that the objective is to have a big score at the end, but as in the "Loop collector", we can't see where are the others loop and the camera is too near to see the obstacle in advance to avoid them so it's easy to choice between the two solutions : try to find loops and maybe lose them before the goal (or losing because we're lost or to slow to reach the goal) OR go straight to the goal and win because obstacle don't kill us.

I don't know if you'll understand my point of view, it's just a feeling >.< Your game is still good ! I just think that with a camera moving during mini-games and a way to prevent players to win the "Obstacle Course" by going straight to the goal, could make it cooler !

Nice visuals! Having several gamemodes to play is unusual for a jam game, that's great you were able to achieve this variety. The colorblind mode and the different color themes is also a nice addition.
On the gameplay itself, I found the game a bit slow (controls, animations), with graphical and sound stuttering sometimes, but I played through Wine, so that might be the cause. Otherwise it worked well and I was able to play the 3 modes. A nice entry overall! :)

The colored neon & partticules visual is very nice. And the music/sound match very well. I like the shapes created with the paths on the background. Here the loops are only visual and there's lack of impact on the gameplay. But it's fun to have 3 different ways to play based on the same principle. Good job!

Really slick with lovely graphics and sound. It's a really neat mechanic and fun to play. Obviously this was done in a jam but with a bit of expansion, a little more gameplay, you could while away hours on this!

Graphics are absolutely gorgeous, the the different visual themes are a really nice touch too.

I like the idea of taking a mechanic and applying it to different game modes.

Would be nice to have a slightly longer time limit on some of them just to see how many loops you can get together

Why do I have Katamari vibes ?

That was great ! Love the many themes, the THREE game mode and even the little jokes on top.

Surprisingly complete or a jam game, it was really fun, thank you !

I liked it, it's pretty fun, I like how the circles stick to you making your shape bigger, nice idea! Also it's super neat and without bugs or any issue, congrats!
Having 3 different graphic and audio themes is a big achievement for a game jam, same goes for 3 differnet game modes :o I'm impressed

Graphics are neat and work very well! Same for audio, controls respond correctly, you can be proud!

However I found it a little limited in the fun we can have, just collecting circles until the time runs out is not super fun, the 2 other modes are a little better I think ^^

The fact the cirle rotates is a good idea too

I didn't quite find the loop theme in it though, except from the graphic part, the game design is not very "stuck in loop" -ish, sorry :/
