A game that takes both themes. A simple game of life. I didnt have much time so no polish was made.

If it has those infinite spinning pixels, it's a life game. :) Well done!

not much in terms of interaction, a quite dry implementation of conway's game of life. I wish I could draw my own patterns at the start.

I think I know what you were going for, I just can't see the game aspect of it.

Interesting take on the theme(s). I would love if there was more control instead of it being random. Also, this might just be me but this game was slowing down my system a ton when I had it running. Still, the idle game idea behind it has promise and could be cool if more was done with it.

Good job!

This project lacks in originality and fun, as this is a Conway's Game Of Life game and there is barely any interaction.

@grama, yes, was thinking about that. but decided to stay a bit more true to the 2 button theme. Also didnt have much time (Done in a little more than 1 hour), though making it do what you are suggesting would have been fast to implement. And might do that later. Also more control on the world size and life rate and have it be able to go from side to side and top to bottom. Like a continues world.

@pluberski Thanks

@gmisail, yes, it is Conway's Game of Life. Though made by me, as i have not seen or looked at example code. Just referenced the rules.

An implementation of Conway's Game of Life. With no way to control what the start position is, it's a bit tricky. As well, on three plays, it seemed like the field had a tendency to just die out rather than forming very interesting patterns, with only a few occilating spots rather than developing into the more complex and majestic patterns that a less random GoL can produce.

Which isn't quite "Growing".
