Holy shit, what an amazing job! Great art, beautiful music; especially on the 5th upgrade with maximum graphical detail upgrades. The screenshake really made it hard, and I couldn't upgrade the scarecrow anymore. I think I've honestly played this for 20 minutes easily to finish it.

Great job. Absolutely fantastic game, love your art style. We should work together sometime.

Oh my goodness. This is so great. I love the combination of clicker/farm sim/ and not-too-hard arcade game. I bookmarked it so I can come back and play it some more. The graphics are cute, the music is nice -- amazing job!

This game is very juicy. Very very juicy. It's a great and not so subtle nod to the art of juicing your game up. At all upgrades maxed out, it's actually a dizzying experience, which is why I was very glad it ended when I paid off my debt, but I'm happy for the experience I was given. Great job. I'm gonna be sending this one around so they can experience true juice.

This was a combination of themes that totally shouldn't work, but boy it did! I played this for way longer than I care to admit
I was debt-free by day 16.

Only 2 minor gripes with it. I wish there was a way to sell all the juice at once. Towards the end my hand hurt from dragging hundreds of juice boxes around :joy:
And man... that maxed out screen shake, it makes me dizzy :joy:

Edit: Just in case it wasn't obvious, I loved this! Will give the link to my girlfriend this evening, and then probably won't see her again for the day

I'd like to thank @trmrddr for pointing me towards this one so I could experience the juicing for myself. Almost too juicy, but we all know that's not possible. My only complaints are that I wish I didn't have to drag things to sell them (right-click, or ctrl click or something instead?), or that I didn't have to click through text every time I finished juicing a tree. I guess in addition, I didn't see much of a point in upgrading my seeds? It seemed like I already had more seeds than I could ever plant, so I didn't bother upgrading.

Those are super tiny nitpicks though, and I'm glad for having played this quite funny game.

Thanks everyone for your thoughtful comments!

@netmute, @mathemagician: you're right about the dragging. I think I would have quickly realised the need for a shortcut, if I'd tested with other players - which I always fail to save time for. And your other points are bang on too.

"The old days before we were disembodied heads" ROFL. That was excellent. This is a very creative game that was a lot of fun to play. The visuals were great and the audio amazing. I do have to say, after the first level of shake, it became too much. I had to leave it at 2. I did max everything out before paying off the debt and tried it and 5/5 is insane. Also, I don't think I had to receive the instructions on what happens after harvest every time. The first time, yeah, makes sense, but after that it was intrusive. Also, it was a little tedious dragging stuff to sell it. Other than those minor complaints, I think this is a fantastic game. Great job!

This game is so fun! I think the idea that upgrade the game elements is excellent that it keeps player to get both more money and more gaming option. I have to say that the screen shake 5/5 is so hardcore but the overall experience for this game is terrific. Good Job!!

Simply delightful. I especially loved the music(especially with its progression throughout the upgrades) and the humour. I like the risk-reward situation introduced by including the Detail and Shake cathegories, making the game less playable, but more profitable.
I would venture to say this is the best game from this LD I've played so far. Great job!

Ah dang, I need a refund! That shake is friggin ridiculous, and I'm royally stuck. I was at a point of getting so much money, I invested everything into screenshake, not knowing it would render the game unplayable. I haven't invested anything into scarecrows, cos lower difficulty is boring, but that screenshake is simply ridiculous! I really loved the game, and wish that I could seriously refund the shake, cos other than that I was gonna meet the deadline. Awesome game!

@justcamh You're right, I really should have included the ability to downgrade!

This is awesome! The music is amazing and the graphics is great! I feel like it would be great to have some hotkey for quick selling stuff XD The highest screenshake is horrifying (yet cool). I love how each upgrade changes the game a lot and makes it even juicier :eggplant:

Was really fun to play through, and nervewrecking once the shaking was at max :)
Great job!

Ok, I got blown away! Amazing! One of the best games I played here. The only thing that I found quite annoying is the selling part. Draggingg and dropping things, again and again, was not fun for sure. Still, I am amazed!

Edit: It works great on Safari too.

It's one of the most interesting games I've played. I liked every aspect of it. Very well rounded from the beginning. I loved how smoothly the tutorial was embedded in the gameplay. Repetitiveness of gameplay didn't get boring because I always had something I wanted to see.

Some notes I have is that I agree that "drag and drop" was a bit brutal for each berry separately and "GET READY" could be active a little bit less time because after a while I was ready long before harvesting started. Maybe some feature like trees "spoiling" would add some more strategy and difficilty to it or when failing a harvest the tree could disappear... I also always prefer the WASD instead of the arrows out of habit so you could add those too :)

Well done!!

Great idea to have the game itself upgrade as you go. Overall an enjoyable game, though avoiding the birds is sometimes a bit random. A minor gripe is that dragging and dropping the juice was tedious. It would be better to just award the points at the end of each harvest.

This was by far one of my favorite compo entries this entire jam. Also loving the fact that you just plain wrote to the canvas without using a library like phaser. There's such a huge amount of content for 48h, all the audio that improves over time, all the graphics that get better. Love the gameplay, love the screenshake making it harder. Played it twice fully and paid off debt within 12 days the second run through. Really mindblowing entry altogether!

This game is awesome! At first I thought it was just going to be a simple farming game and then you built two games that both adhered to the theme! I had a lot of fun getting the farm together, although I'm happy I didn't upgrade screen shake until the end or that would have been very tough. The conversation after you win got a few audible laughs from me :joy:

REALLY Great Game!!! Amazing! Great music, nice story, good diffficulty curve,

could have added an option to sell all the juices simultaneously but maybe it adds to the charm of the game, maybe warn players about shake, you could have reduce the number of days to make it feel like the player just made it. there was like more than a week left before I paid the debt and finished the game. So the time limitation of a month didn't really matter much

Can't belive u made it by urself in just two days... Good Job! Keep it UP!!!!

Incredibly fun game. Maxed everything and paid the debt! Was half-hoping for the debtor to exploit a loophole and claim that the player has an even greater debt than expected.

It'd be nice to have the audio and graphics for the menu change as well when upgrading the Details and Sound. Other things have been said before by others, probably (like dragging multiple items instead of one by one).

...It's surprisingly enjoyable to play with max Shake.

Awesome game all around. Really good job and a really good fit difficulty and length wise for a LD. Especially enjoyed the improvements to the minigame. Felt a bit sad about buying multiple at once.

Only minor downsides would be the dialogue after every harvest and that I had to drag the stuff to sell instead of (double?) clicking for example.
