Froze at Minotaur? I appreciate the web build though!

Very well established aesthetic. Nothing much else stands out to me, though.

Hey! Really nice game you got there! The voice of that guy was kinda robotic and broken and it was a super nice choice. Makes it a lot more innovative. The music was also very moody and good, which means, your audio overall was really good! The graphics were also quite original and animations were quite smooth and decently done. Really liked the pixel art style! The combat was kind of weird to me, and I didn't really manage to do anything to the Minotaur and didn't quite understand the point of the monk and the shrine, but that might just be me being stupid. :D But hey, nothing actually bad to say about this game, except for the combat on my part, and the background might've been a bit buggy/wobbly while moving, but other than that a really good mood done with the audio and graphics! Good job guys!

Like the music and art style. Character and fighting motion seems cool. Need more things to interact with.

Interesting game. When you figure out how it works you'll want to finish it. Nice atmosphere and fun to play.

Well done!
The mood is definitely there, it's nice to wander in the game and discover the mechanics.
The movements of the character could be a little smoother (for example, when you're walking and then you jump, the character stops after the jump instead of keeping the walking speed it had), but it's nice to play as it is too.
I couldn't beat the boss even after getting the upgrade, so I haven't seen the end.

@bainerd the pause was just kinda long - I pushed a fix because I kinda considered it game breaking. try it again!

Very charming game, there's something about the audio that ties in very well with the animations and the graphics in general. Nailed the mood. Gameplay could've been more challenging or had more mechanics to it, but it's a fun little experience. There is always something changing when you loop, so it doesn't get tedious, which is a very important detail. If you don't mind me asking, how did you give the audio that retro-compression style? Great job on the game

it was great to play. After like 10 runs I found out a workable pattern to kill the boss. I'd like to see how this game prgresses from here.

Very impressed with how much tone you were able to develop with just a handful of objects! Having the monk laugh when your back was turned and the glowing stone were great, but the faint singing every so often was my absolute favorite. Would absolutely love to see this expanded on!

I enjoyed the pixel graphics, they look good. The audio was pretty good, though the voice sounded a bit odd. The walking was a bit too much in my opinion, the level could have been smaller and still been good.

Interesting aesthetic. The music/sounds are pretty nice and it looks pretty unique. Some of the art is a bit inconsistent in style, but overall it's not too bad. The walk animations are a bit jittery when the screen scrolls and it would be nice if there was a bit more indication of progress when walking on large stretches of ground.

Liked the music. Walking would get stuck unless you repeatedly pressed the arrow keys, especially after jumping. You may want to use GetKey instead of GetKeyDown(). Good effort. Way to go!

Whoa you have a good game indeed. The monk laughing caught me off guard for sure. The robotic voice was a plus. I like the sfx a lot. I never actually found out how to defeat the boss, but seeing that my dead body was there made me think there ws more and i need to comeback to it to see if i can find out later how to actually manage to defeat the boss. The sky being kinda buggy and taking a lot to get to where you died, were throwing me off a bit, and also having to repeatedly push the arrow keys to walk after jumping or attacking made things even more difficult.
Nonetheless, this is a very good entry, good job!!
