== STORY ==

Sometimes the souls meant to Heaven don't go there. They are being caught in a loop of a demonic rope and dragged straight to Hell. They give up and stay there forever, tied to a pillar of despair.

But not this one

This brave little soul will fight the demons, gain power from eath victory and one day finally become strong enough to rip the rope and break free.

But... How many demonic ropes are there?..

The game has a fun storyline and the mechanics to sling the ball were interesting! It could use some sound.

A good and simple concept, solidly executed. The difficulty ramps up nicely from "introduction" to "easy" to "satisfyingly hard". Very nice job overall. Didn't notice any bugs, and the object collision feels good.

I loose. Does that mean I win if I got loose?

Cool game, with a pretty unique concept! Music and visuals fit well, though the design on the enemies was a bit lackluster (angular hellish monsters rather than simply red shapes would have been cool).

Must admit I couldn't finish it as it ended up being quite frustrating. IMO this is due to the random enemy spawns stopping any kind of strategy being formed to beat the levels. Also I think you should be far more lenient on the click radius in order to get control of the ball. Overall, reclicking a moving ball seems to be the most powerful and fun tool for the player, but you have to be sooo accurate with your click that it ends up rarely working and being frustrating instead.

Also the logic behind what is an attack vs what is a bounce seems off. Many times I hit a shape with a large force but get no kill simply because the swing was initially in the opposite direction.

Still a good game and glad I played it!

Fun little game, quite satisfying to play. Combos are not so difficult that you hardly ever get them, but difficult enough that it feels really good if you do. You also did a good job at creating an oppressive "hell" atmosphere through the soundscape. I found it a little frustrating that I had to click the ball to aim -- perhaps this is intentional to increase the difficulty, but I often felt like I lost because I just couldn't catch the ball.

Unique and fun entry overall!

Good job with the game. It was fun to sling around the ball and learn the physics of it. I felt like it would have played a bit smoother if the ball started in a neutral position relative to the rope. Overall, very nice.

I really enjoyed this game. It felt like a really good indie thing, reminiscent of good mobile games. I had difficulties clicking on the ball while it was in motion. Maybe have clicking anywhere on screen also stop it and get it ready to shoot? If not, it's a nice addition of difficulty. Otherwise it feels really good, well done.

Really fun mechanic! A few things make it feel harder than it should be mechanically - the physics are a little weird, the radius on the ball to grab it while in motion could be more generous, and enemies sometimes appear right next to you. But the gameplay is still nice, and almost feels a bit like asteroids sometimes. Finally, not sure I get where the theme comes in?

@lyje the character is literally stuck in literal loop of a rope preventing them from free movement
