Dive Dog is a puzzler inspired by Minesweeper! Get to the exit, don't step on a mine.

Made in JavaScript for web browsers, including mobile!

Hints: - Leaf count tells you how many mines there are in all 8 directions - You can flag a known mine spot by tapping - Exit is always in the bottom-right corner - You might have to guess, sorry

I really like this! The mechanic of playing minesweeper through an avatar is interesting, and although it can lead to situations where you're forced into forging ahead blindly, it definitely feels more rewarding when you win.

I'm a big fan of minesweeper, so I thought this was a pretty neat spin on it. It's a little tedious having to click the arrows to move around, but it was interesting enough to warrant going through a few stages. Nicely done!

Honestly it's a minesweeper clone, but it's fun nonetheless

Cute graphics! Would've been nice to support arrow keys probably. I'm very bad at these games though x)

Cutest pupper ever. 💚 Already told you I'm really bad at original Minesweeper and so also really bad at this, but that's on me! Big props for making it work on mobile. Fits well there. And wow, I just learnt what the flags are for in the original game. Hahaha. Now I feel silly for never realising.

Cute game )) But sometimes you don’t have the right choice.

Nice concept, and Minesweeper will always be fun. There was too much guessing for my liking. I understand creating a level generator that eliminated guessing would have been out of the scope of a jam, but it would have been nice to have some other mechanic to alleviate the issue. Maybe a few lives per level would have helped. Either way I had fun with it.

Good stuff :8ball:

This was a cool take on the theme, starting with no knowledge! I also really liked the simplistic yet fun and addictive gameplay, some audio would have been nice, just for a bit of background noise! Overall, this is a very good jam entry!

Neat twist on the traditional minesweeper game! Would have liked some audio, but otherwise neat concept.

Yeah doesnt relate to theme well and could use some sound effects, I like the art though and the game idea.
