boss.png

Just go to the Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/friikydev) and start idleing today! :moneywithwings: screen1.png

Yes you read that right. This is a Twitch Playes Multiplayer Idle Game. :sunglasses:

IMPORTANT NOTE (08.10.2019): Sorry to say, that I had to make 2 fixes today. 1) the money you get from shares while you are away was not calculated correctly 2) had to fix chat disconnects

Both changes do not affect the gameplay at all. Mechanics and content stays unchanged.

Very nice job! Definitely unique and I love the sound and visuals, especially with the camera panning around the office.
Typing out each word feels a bit much for the what you get in return.

The use of Twitch is stunning, but the level of polish in the graphics and audio is also incredible. I'm floored by this entry.

It'd be nice to have a list of all the commands instead of waiting for them to cycle through. The camera panning provides a welcome dash of variety but sometimes hides a player's balance or income. Maybe a chatbot with commands like !balance would help.

Great idea for sure, respects to you for going not traditional! I like the graphics, the sfx is simple but works. I would have loved an audio background track to fill up the atmosphere with a cool mood. Still, good job!

This was really interesting. I really liked how it was a game done in Twitch of all things!
The fact that it is multiplayer also gave me a slight sense of teamwork and unity when I looked at the 'LD45 earned' counter.

The audio was also pretty good, nicely capturing an office atmosphere.

Not much gameplay, but as expected of an idle game. Great job!

Best score for humor from me so far.

Thank you all for your comments. I noted suggestions for a post ludum dare version. :) Thanks also for that.

@Baturinsky : The crazy thing is: Till now there is only one bot. Some where there for several hours while I were developing typing (and copy pasting) words by hand!

Nice to see Twitch integration explored with this theme. I think this is executed really well. Overall atmosphere is satisfying and I like the fact that audio is minimalistic. Only echoing keyboard clicks are heard from the environment. It gives more room for the coin sound, that acts as a satisfying player feedback. Graphics are solid and I like the toned down color palette.

I wonder what is the maximum player amount that can play this game at once? Have you stress tested it?

@keppu No, I have to admit that I did not test it. I am still waiting for it to crash because of to many players. :sunglasses:

@0xkalle Well, that would be a positive problem wouldn't it. I bet eventually your game reaches that game crashing popularity.

@keppu would be cool :dark_sunglasses: , but currently the popularity is decreasing a bit.

Thank you for all you feedback again. After the ludum dare voting phase I will release the post LD version which in cludes new things to buy, more offices, and will also make it harder for scripters.

All your feedback is in this next version, so thanks for that again.

A very cool game idea and I like the approach for a Twitch Game as a LD Entry.
The game looks already "finished" in first place. Maybe some more content for late game or a good motivation for players to keep typing, because after a certain point you will not type anymore only let the game be the idle game which it is in the core.

But overall a nice Game, very well done.

@deathstorm thanks for your comment.

Yes you are totally right with that. I already prepared a relatively big update which I release after the voting phase. Still the typing might not be worth enough, still. We'll see. :)

@elysiagriffin Thank you very much for playing it :)

Good to be able to observe someone playing it for the first time. The main difficulty is the "long"delay I guess. So you do not get instant feedback in the jam version. In the post jam version this changed.

We'll see how far TwitchPlays games get (not this one but the category in general) as it has potential, but also some restrictions (because of the delay and the screen size).
