Not entirely sure waht this has to do with the theme, but still a fun little shooter

Cool concept! One note on the combat: since the punch hit box is quite forgiving, and the enemies all move slower than the player, you can kite the enemies into a large group and punch them to death without taking damage. I never needed to buy a turret with this strategy. Cheese strategies aside, I liked the gameplay, and the style is nice.

Graphics are lovely, audio simple and effective, gameplay simple and fun, but i think you forgot about the theme... overall nice game! try to improce it after a jam : )

Had a lot of fun. The game is polished but I agree with the others, the theme seems to have been forgotten.

The turrets felt underpowered and not really worth building since your attack was so powerful.
A fun, polished game though.

thought this was really fun and would like to see more defense items added -- great idea

The theme even went away, honestly innovation is also not the strong point. But the positive points is that humor and art is coherent, within the proposal the game works well

Nice interpretation of the theme, you cannot fight yourself but must build towers.
But on the execution level, it was unbalanced. I spent most of the time running around shaking enemies off (while building towers whenever I can), until I ran out of money and lost.

With some balancing, more towers (and generally more feeling of power and awesomeness), and maybe enemies which are less sticky, it could be a great game.

Pretty nice entry :) It was fun for what it is. I do wish turrets were a little bit stronger as they felt somewhat useless when players attacks were so much stronger. Enemy variety (at least from my gameplay, not sure if more come later, tried several times and only saw first aliens and slightly different colored alien) is very short, it would definitely increase the depth a lot more :) You could have aliens being distracted by towers but another alien type that just goes for you so turrets don't feel completely useless hahah. It was also hard to tell when i took damage as there was no indicator at all but the pixel art was fantastic and i didn't face any bugs, pretty polished :) All in all a pretty nice entry! Good job!

it's a nice basis for a game, if not very innovative. i think the towers should stick around for longer, as they feel like a waste of money for a few seconds of shooting. the enemies could definitely use a bit more variety as stronger and stronger versions got boring after a while. i found that the dominant strategy is to round up all of the enemies in a wave and then just stand there shooting them until they all die. i understand that a lot of the changes i suggested would be very hard to implement in a jam, but i thought it would be good to give feedback anyway.

I would have liked a little more challenge. Maybe objectives spawn around the map, or there are objects to defend? As it was I mostly ran in a circle in the middle to kite the brains, then would turn around and hit them all. Regardless, nice entry!
