Ludum Dare 45 - Restrictions by ThievingTime

[raw]
made by ThievingTime for Ludum Dare 45 (JAM)

This is the game for LD45-StartWithNothing called "Restrictions". You are a cube in a 2d world, starting with no controls and gain more features as you progress through 14 levels. We originally set out to make a puzzle platformer, but ended up with a more action-based, near rage-like feel. Enjoy!

I like the idea and theme interpretation but I don't like games where lots of consequent actions with proper timings are nedded and it's impossible to save game at any moment, so thanks for not blocking levels after the last passed one )

P.S. Did you know that there is a better way to store executable files on github by creating releases and sharing direct link to the archive (so even people not aware of how github works are able to download it). You can see how I have done it with my game)

Quite a fun game! In enjoyed the hectic exploration and smart level design.

But I sadly encountered a game stopping bug. On one of the levels (image) everything, except for the long walls, just started flickering around - like I was being shown all the frames of movement all at once. That made it impossible to progress in through that level and I am left to wonder - how does this adventure end. I tried twice and encountered the same bug.
