Overall a very nice entry!
Overall, you did a nice job. Keep it up!
The graphic style changes other games, it's cool! Really good job ! :D
I enjoyed playing this one and played it until the end.
Few notes:
- Character moves slowly, it would be nice if he could sprint for a bit, and therefore lowering time when running around searching for items.
- Items are not easy to recognize (they could be animated or having more contrast), especially the rope ... I pretty much noticed the rest right away, but I went 2 times next to rope before realizing something is there (or I might be just blind, that is also possible)
- Z-fighting, at the edge of map, sand hill z-fights with the floor, try moving it up little bit (or use polygon offset, or any other solution), which will remove the flickering
Anyways, I enjoyed this entry. Keep up the good work!
Like others have commented, I loved the visual style too. Especially the details that went into the buildings and how they were eroded over time. The missing head on the one statue was such a lovely touch.
I also wished the characters moved faster (although I can understand why you wouldn't want to rush the experience) and that the rope was easier to distinguish (a different colour maybe?).
Overall I enjoyed this entry.
but it was a nice experience ;)
maybe a bit to slow paced
Struggled a to find the rope - I thought it was a tree.
A run button would have been nice.
A few personal comments: the character movement was a little bit irregular and the collisions during the jump stopped the movement which was a little bit disturbing.
Other than that a really good submission !
