In this game, you start with nothing to do, but as time passes, the game's difficulty increases, try to stay alive as long as possible!

So this LD was a rollercoaster for me. It started of with good idea, then I fell off, and lost motivation, only to pick it back up in the span of 24 hours. I got back at it at full speed and finished it off in time!

This game is heavily based on well known rhythm games with an addition of some power ups and health restore. Difficulty is configurable

I want to start of by saying, great work, I didn't expect a rhythm game to be made for this Ludum Dare. It was overall fun to play, but I noticed that as the frequency of the notes go up, it doesn't really sync with the music, making it significantly harder.

I know, Having had more time, I would of totally assigned more time to the rhythm allocation. I feel like I neglected that area simply because of the complexity of the task. Thank you nonetheless for playing! :)

Well dang, this is a nice lil music game you got here. I find my self just lost in the game after a while when the notes come down fast and frequently. Love the animated pixel background, and almost everything about the game. The slow down notes are probably there to help, but they almost feel abrupt in the way it slows the game down and it makes continuing the game harder than it would have been without for me, but loved the game otherwise.

Thank you for playing!
Yeah I wanted to gradually slow down over a second or two whenever you hit the slowdown note. Did not implemented that idea after all due to time constraints. That would totally be part of the things needing some polishing! ;)

Simple and fun. At the end the text was all squiggly as my eyes were readjusting  Nice work. I thought of it more as a timing game than a musical game.

Enjoyed playing! This could grow to be a great little rhythm game. Enjoyed the gameplay, and the sounds were nice! I do wish it was a tad bit more forgiving on the timing I press on the note, but that might just be my inexperience in the area. (I've only ever really played 1 rhythm game, so I don't know the standard)

Good fun, nice job!

Hey, nice work! I'm happy I could help out with the name! :D

On your gifs you have a score of like 300 - 400, I don't even get close to it ;D but I'm not so experienced with rhythm based games either!

I created something similar as a system in LD44, so I'm curious how your "move note down synchronized to the bottom" algorithm works? :)

Again, well done, it's fun and a complete experience!

I enjoyed this! But as someone mentioned, I feel as the slow-down item makes it harder, as it changes the rythm of the game. Maybe it could change to allow a more generous timing. Also its not easy to check your health, while you're trying to hit the notes. Maybe that would be easier, if the health would be a health bar next to the notes, to let the player have a feel of how much life they have left.

Great job! My only wish is that there was some sort of feedback to clicking a note button, maybe a very small, unobtrusive sound effect.
