This game really quite nice, the effects are very good and it feels very satisfying to kill the enemies. For me personally the text was quite unclear and you seemed to switch font every other menu, witch was very weird.

The upgrade menu feld quite empty to me as the only 2 options in there are health based and once you get the controlls down dying becomes almost impossible after 1 or 2 upgrades. I also tried walking everywhere on the stage but for me only ever 3 enemies spawned every minute or so. This could have been sped up a bit. The music annoyed me very quickly as the loop seems to be very short.

I also feel some feedback is missing when you get hit for example. But other then that the game is quite nice!

The game felt polished visually which was great. I wasn't sure what I needed to get to buy things in the upgrade menu and there didn't seem to be any feedback to indicate when I was being hit. That said I enjoyed jumping around fighting the enemies and it's a very nice take on the theme.

Could do with a little bit of juice when having the player being hit, but other than that it's visually great! Gameplay is super satisfying!

I like the glowing sprites and how the character sprite pops to the music. It was hard to measure the range of the close combat attack, and I couldn't see the range on the enemy attack so I died very quickly.

This has an intriguing visual style!

Like other have said, I struggled to know when I was getting hit. I had to keep glancing up which took my eyes off the combat. So hit indications would be great.

Hitting the Pain(s) felt pretty satisfying although I often struggled to know when I was close enough to make a hit or if I would miss, so I would have liked a way to tell if my hit would work or not.

Cool atmosphere :) But like some of the others, I don't think I understood how to fight the enemies, I couldn't figure out a way to kill them without taking damage; but from what another said, I guess there is?

I dig the dark aesthetic mixed with bloom - looks cool! Interesting idea as well. Killing enemies is satisfying with the particle effects and the audio did the trick. It'd be nice to have some variety in waves of enemies rather than 3 coming from the left all the time. Also some kind of visual indicating your attack/range and being attacked would be nice. Good submission!
