The two biggest and most influential stars, reigned over the universe. One day, they fell in love , even though they knew them being this close would go beyond the limit of the universe, the expansion limit. Even with all rules and difficulties, they knew their love would not cease to grow, what they didn’t expect, was that the consequence of said love, was a whole new big bang, which made the entire universe now... empty. In spite of it all, you were still born. A celestial entity, born from a forbidden love. Now, in this new universe, it’s up to you to fight and become a new Pillar of Creation or live in eternal emptiness.

That intro animation was gorgeous, the art style is by far my favorite part of the game. The gameplay itself is quite simple but that's okay for a game jam. I think some clearer instructions on how to move, what stars are good to eat and which ones aren't would have been helpful.

Overall fantastic job!!!

Liked:
+ Intro animation - It looks like a lot of effort was put into it. High five to your artists!
+ Pretty interesting and catchy to find out of how big you can grow - I have got 2500+ point and it becomes pretty much hard to navigate around avoiding dangers - cool gamedesign decision.
+ PacMan reincarnation idea!

Disliked:
- was not able to figure out at start of what is eatable and what is not

Ways to improve:
- Give your "colorcoding" another try - IMO red is a danger color not purple, nor violet.
- Leaderboard to compeate for high score is a must for such games.

Anyway, congrats! cool entry!

Intro sequence - props for that!
Funny main character.
Kinda unclear what's eatable and what's lethal (learned with trial-and-error but still), could use some distinct 'OMG I'm hurt!!' SFX.
Background feels a bit off, probably because 'galaxies' are far too bright (and feel like first-plane, gameplay objects).
