Had me at "Birb" <3

Def takes a learning curve for that dot stage :O

I also went through the Top Right door once I became plump birb and just went back to the bottom of that third level.

I'm... not quite sure what I just played, but it was, uh, short and sweet! Interesting that the first level was the most challenging. Also, the key bindings are a little weird; Tab doesn't peck, Ctrl and X does, and Alt and Z act as jump keys. Peck doesn't seem to do anything, which is a shame... I suppose the most impressive thing here is that you managed to port this onto a Game Boy! Great job on that end, seriously!

I could really see this being on an actual gameboy. I reached a glitch where I pecked and then it wouldn't stand back up or let me move.

The game bugged out for me at stage 3, I kept going left, unable to move anywhere. I like the idea, and I definitely like the graphics. Did not really enjoy the gameplay, since it was based on timed jumps but the movement seemed too smooth. Love it overall, but needs tons of improvements.

The keybinds were really weird, and the html5 port doesn't seem to work too well.

@matharoo I had the same bug, but it fixed itself after I pressed Esc. Also X/Z tended to be sticky for me but Ctrl wasn't. Not sure if this was a problem with the web player.

Played the web version - though would have loved to play the rom :)
Cute little game.
A bit of a wierd bug when moving would make the player move even more to the input direction which made jumps frustrating. Also couldn't move right with bird (birb) at all.

The movement was frustrating, but it was fun to try to get to the top. I encountered a bug (I think) where I couldn't move after getting the peck ability.

I really like the gameplay progression, however it seems weird that the first level is harder than the last one :p
I love the art style! Good job for the Game Boy port!

I love the art and idea! :D I played the web version and it seems like the controls are acting weird (maybe on purpose?) but I couldn't seem to control the direction of the baby dot.

Super cool that you made a gameboy game! I ran into a bug where it wouldn't stop moving left though, but I really like the core idea.
