What an interesting take on a game! Quite addictive! The twats that spawned that would put back blocks really annoyed me haha.

I think there is a small bug where if you're on the complete right side of the level, you see some changes on the left side; even one of the twats that places blocks back did it, but no biggy! Plays nicely, interesting style; loved the bright colors. Good job!

Cool game! I got to dark blue, but I couldn't afford another sacrifice and I couldn't clean up after three bad guys on my own (my fiends did little to help). Early progression is interesting, pretty simple idea but it evolves in some interesting ways.

Super satisfying! I can see this become a top mobile game -) The only issue I see is that its hard to see the player!

Feels like a classic we never got. Id love to see where this game evolves but it also seems to go on forever. Oh, and should mention that it seems the faster you go the less you cover. Like the game lots.

Very polished aesthetic, this game feels really cool. The gameplay was intuitively simple to grasp and highly addictive - peeling those layers is SO satisfying. I second the notion that seeing the player is a little tricky, but I only lost track once or twice when I had a lot of friends. Great work all around.

10/10 would pay 1000 pixels to get better friends again.

Really good game, glad I played it with f.lux enabled on my desktop otherwise the white mixed with other bright colors would really have put a strain on my eyes. That being said it was fun enough game I would have been willing to put that strain on with no second guessing. This is a really solid game.

Simple and elegant. You focused on your game's core game mechanics and it was a treat. Played a long while but eventually it gets too hard for my skills. Job well done!

This is a cool game, and the plinking sound is fun. Some music, however, would've been nice, and the mass plinking sound hurts my ears a bit. Overall, fun game!

Woah, nice work! I got to a point where all the level text was "Undefined" so i think i won? I eventually sacrificed all my friends, but who needs friends when you go fast? haha, great entry!

Cool game, it reminds me of Peter Molyneux's [weird cube game](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curiosity:_What%27s_Inside_the_Cube%3F).

I like the interpretation of the theme, and the idle game/incremental game mechanics were a nice touch.
"Salvation" was good to have too, I may have keep playing (I got to layer 18) if not for that, so thank you!

There was some humor ("Better Friends"), but it would have been nice if the game had a bit more narrative (maybe some footer text that changes layer to layer).

@hitchh1k3r thanks for the comments! not sure if you noticed, but the header text does change... not much of a story, but it's definitely there. also i remember playing Curiosity! what an awesome concept that fell so flat lol

@6smith Oh cool, I totally missed that the first time (I thought it was just a subtitle)... I played it again, this time without any sacrifices, and found a bug/probably unintended ending, it was pretty cool though:

**Edit:** maybe a spoiler...
!> Hmmm.... on second though (given the game text, and title this may be an intended ending... nice job ^_^). I can't put an image in a spoiler, so [here is a link](https://static.jam.vg/raw/16/z/29c95.gif)!

@hitchh1k3r ... I never expected somebody to get that far! That's very impressive lol... The following should help you:

!> You win the game by sacrificing enough friends, if you don't sacrifice any friends, the game goes on forever and the list of messages runs out, thus leaving a message "undefined".

This game is colorful and oddly satisfying. I didn't even notice the friends buttons until after I read some of the comments here (I was distracted by the "?"), after which the game became much more interesting.
