I like it ! Second level is a little hard tho. But good job nice style :)

I had a good time playing it. I just missed a 8-direction movement instead of 4.

Nice! Impressed by the AI, wasn't expecting them to go round the corners and continue attacking me!

I like it, and good job setting up the enemy behavior.
I found the controls a little rough. The way keys overrode each other was a little bit awkward. The four way was fine, just the way key combinations were handled could have been better. Good work.

I replayed this a few times,but could never get past that second level. Maybe I'm just really bad at it. Enjoyed it a lot though, the enemy behavior worked really well!

Good game and good AI. The second level is much harder than the first - I wasn't expecting things like arrows! I think that making the controls omni-directional would improve the game play.

I like it, I like the art style and the ai scripts.

Wow that difficulty spike was harsh! Definitely could have used a slower ramp up in difficulty. Also, the controls were a little wonky - why not just use the Construct 2 8-directional behavior?

But regardless, it's a really fun little Gauntlet clone with a lot of character. Love the voices and sound fx. AI is good, maybe too good! Probably would be a good idea to have an enemy # cap as well, otherwise that second level gets impossible pretty quickly!

Finally, as a fellow C2 dev, let me tell you - the sine wave behavior goes a long way into adding that extra little bit of polish! The menus were a little static, just some movement would have livened them up!

Overall, a very solid compo game! Great job!

IMPOSSIBLE! How are you supposed to get past level 2? Has anybody finished this game? I didn't mind the 4-way movement, but the hitboxes were a bit off, and I found myself stuck or not throwing axes, followed by an immediate impending doom. Maybe cap the enemies or make them a bit dumber...

The second part with the spawning goblins was way too difficult! Got swarmed within a minute. That said I did manage to complete the level!

Good work! I have to say it the second level was a little hard but finished the level. Everything about this definitely reminded me of the old dungeon crawlers.

I'm thinking either the player needs to be able to move and possibly shoot faster, or the archers need to fire more slowly/less frequently. There's really no good way to deal with archers without taking damage, especially when you're being zerged by orcs streaming out of a burrow (might wanna fix that typo while you're at it ;) )

Love the game, very fun and I like the difficulty. Sound is great, art is great and also very addictive.

It would be nice to be able to move diagonally, and I also had issues with getting caught on things and not being able to get through doors. Fun though! Hrrrrruuugh!

The art style is neat. The difficulty is challenging. The sound effects are good. But there are some bugs. The first one is that sometimes you are not able to get through narrow doorways when walking horizontaly. And the second one is with the game not turning the character in the right direction when you press up or down at the same time as left or right. For example when you press the up and right button at the same time you will start going upwards, but the character will still look towards the left side of the screen

Good and fun game. I struggled a little with the movement controls. After i beat the third level i came back to the second and was a little confused, maybe a bug i don't know. Great game overall, congrats!

Fun game, I was terrible at playing it, but it was fun. That second level though, a bit rough. I walked in and got pwned...was that how it was supposed to happen? Since the enemies just kept spawning from the tents, I didn't have much of a prayer to take them out.

Overall a great entry! Just needs a nice catchy soundtrack.

@Bendev Basically there are 5 levels. Once you leave a level, the game simply randomly chooses one of the 5 levels to give you. So it is possible to replay the same level a few times, or get the same level twice in a row. Thanks for playing!

Very fun! It's hard. Sometimes it was hard to throw axes at enemies in tight corridors as the axe's kept getting caught on the walls. It's a good idea though and I encourage you to keep working on it! It reminds me of Castle Wolfenstein.

Cool game. The shouts of the many orcs was a bit too much other than that, I tended to get stuck easily, but then again, with practice, I'd get better ;) Thanks for making this game!

Pretty damn difficult game, with a few hiccups here and there with terrain collision. And the sound of orcs constantly roaring gets to you after a while. Still, a pretty fun entry!
