I know how hard it is to make a compelling platformer. i really liked the mood and general level layout but the floaty physics were a bit to slow for me. Also the hitboxes were a little frustrating at times.

I liked your choice for music which fit the mood really well.

It was short and sweet, the visual effects are amazing. I have a few simple suggestions that I think would make it a much smoother experience. Don't allow the player to jump only when he is on the ground. Even if the player has just fallen off the platform, maybe remember that he was on a platform for about 0.1 seconds, and allow him to jump in that time frame. I did something similar for the first time for this jam, and it really feels much better. Also, maybe make the enemy colliders a bit smaller so it doesn't feel unfair for the player when they get hit. I really enjoyed the game, I hope this feedback will be helpful . Great job!

Overall: Nice but short.

Fun: A sidescroller that's mostly fine, but the excessively large hitboxes make the game feel unfair, detracting from the fun. Also, the game is very short.

Innovation: Not a lot - standard gameplay but I guess it's original level design.

Theme: Sure - I see it!

Mood: Good mood, thanks to the choice of music.

Wow, even if this is a simple game, it's probably one of the best I've played in this LD. The story is very deep. Awesome job!

Nice little platformer game! The gameplay isn't very innovative, but the whole graphics, sounds and the "final twist " put together work very well. Congratulations! ;)

That ending was unexpectedly dark

A nice moody platformer that you made here. The collision boxes were a bit hard to figure out at times

Oh the mood! The mood was incredible!
The trail effect felt good and the colour/light usage was brilliant.
The hitboxes on the enemy and the player felt a bit off though and I couldn't really figure out the very high jumps, so there's that. Normally I would complain about a floatiness in a platformer, but didn't really bother me in yours.

You absolutely nailed the atmosphere with your amazing music. I liked the rather simple visuals and the story was impactful.
In conclusion, a very sweet platformer!

I liked the ethereal feel of the game! My only problem with characters that are purely particles is that hitboxes are difficult to get a feel for.

I also wasn't sure about the ending: was the protagonist implying that suicide leads to a less lonely existence? I'm not sure that kind of message will go over very well with many people, but it certainly is a heavy ending with an important theme.

I enjoyed the overall mood, minimalistic style of characters and music you chose. Controls on one hand is simple, on the other... sometimes things get weird. The game is very short, but I love your story. Nice entry overall.
