When I try to run the game, I get the following error: "This application was configured to use a bundled Java Runtime Environment but the runtime is missing or corrupted". Sounds like you're missing some files that should be included with the exe.

The same for me, reply to me if you have a fix, i would really like to play your game!

I got the same error as the people before me. Do you have a version without the java bundled with it?

Same issue as the other commenters here, if you manage to get it fixed let me know, the visuals here look really nice and I'd be interested in trying it out!

My bad guys! This is my first time building a java game so I wasn't quite prepared for this. :P
It should be playable now! My apologies.

Now that it's working, this is pretty cool! I like the graphics and the way battles work. I only tried once and died after a bit, but I might come back to it.

Had quite a blast! Using items and storing them is snappy and i really dig the art! But it is sometimes frustating when you cleared a room and accidentally entering another room because you clicked on the door in front of you.

@mr-field Thanks for pinging me! I'm really glad I got to play it, it's really well done! I love that there is actually an arm for the rock throw animation, and everything feels really well put together. Nice job!

This is a really interesting concept and a cool game. Did a few rounds, but always died. Does this game have an end or is it endless?
I could definitely see this being a nice mobile game. It does need a bit more balancing though, I think I walked past over 6 chests before finding a single key.
Good game!

Edit:
I also keep losing my bag, is that by design? I want to keep it :(

@jefvel

Thanks for playing! The balancing is all over the place atm, I've had runs where I get to the end only having to fight a handful of bats and 3 goblins and some with 3 enemies per room 12 rooms in a row. :P

There is an end! When you get to around room 14+ you enter the blood dungeon (bring an empty bottle or two since you may find a health fountain), then room 20 is a boss fight and the end.

Losing your bag can happen by chance during combat, I wanted to try to keep players close to having nothing, somewhat in theme with the ld, although the chance of your bag breaking is a little too high atm.

I appreciate the feedback. :)

Nice minimal sprites! I enjoy the items mechanic and the skeleton design :>)

Absolutely amazing. Love the art style. Super innovative with the real time gameplay combined with the minimalistic mechanics. Full marks from me

Loved it! Nice art and sound, only problem is it's way too rng heavy. On my best run I got to about level 17 with no weapon drops for like 10 rooms, then I finally died trying to punch a skeleton in the face. Was pretty fun though!

@tui
Thanks very much! You got pretty close to the end there!
I definitely agree with you on the rng, the generation and enemy attacks were implemented in a quick way to test things out, with the goal being to change the generation and tweak the enemies later, but it all ended up being final. :S
I'm pretty happy that you managed to get so far into the dungeon though, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Pretty cool. Nice art and audio. I kept getting my ass beat by goblins and thought that's bad enough, then I went into a room with a skeleton, goblin, and bat. Corpse. :0

It's a solid entry. Nice job.

Incredible! The mechanics are fun and the graphics fit incredibly well. The music doesn't feel like it belongs here, i mean, it doesn't contribute much to the mood (but that's not a huge complaint).
Good job!

the game is beautiful, fits the theme, I liked this game a lot, it reminded me of MS DOS games, I think it's cool you continue the game but thinking for android, it's a very cool rogue like, putting a system deeper than RPG with skill, weapons and armor would be pretty cool

Amazing game! I love everything about it. Took me a few floors to figure out what was going on, but then I got to floor 17 by the time I died. Very great concept!

Great dungeon crawler! Felt like weapons broke too frequently, but aside from that, no complaints.

Such a cool retro game! Simple graphics, little touches such as falling damage counters and wonderful sound make a great composition together. Solid entry, congrats! :D
