To get more noticed I would recommend rating other games

Well.. that escalated quickly. Never been much for clickers and as far as presentation this one isn't that interesting/appealing at first glance, but I think it fits with the corporate theme of the game. There is definitely some darkness behind these cold buttons. Not sure if I was better off not knowing what a tribble was before starting this. A lot happened in a year.

Interesting game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/aEgrmplySyU

Really clever for a clicker game, the idea of using something which multiplies like that is interesting (though I'm generally not very knowledgeable about what clicker games do these days).
It kept me occupied and engrossed for while.

Lack of visual polish aside, one quality of life I would have liked to see is the ability to remove old tribble generators as they become useless.

I also have never been a great fan of clicker games, but this feels not bad at all, perhaps just a bit more visual effects and music would already make this a very good and perhaps addictive mobile game

@silkworm-sweatshop I hope you carried on making a bit more money after you took that screenshot. I'd hate for you to have missed anything after playing for so long.

@jupiter-hadley Thanks for playing it. I also noticed that the info panels weren't showing in your video. Turns out there was a bug and none of them were showing. So thanks for helping me spot that.

@hajden Thanks for playing. I don't know much about clicker games either. I got the idea from that Candy Box game that went viral about 5 years ago.

@velvetlobster Thanks. Not sure the mobile market needs another clicker game though.

Keep clicking guys :8ball:

Even if it's as abstract as this, it's hard for me to let go of the image of actual real-world breeding atrocities like this, so the framing wasn't for me, but in terms of mechanics and gameplay you've obviously done a good job at engaging the player. At some point after acquiring Isla Nublar I never really managed to get any further or unlock anything else, but I managed to retain over 90% approval, so that felt like I did manage to reach some goal. Have to admit my hand really started hurting by then too, so I had to quit, haha. Didn't really have time to read the info panels when things got intense but things were fairly self-explanatory after the intro so maybe they weren't necessary at all. Solid and engaging otherwise!

This game takes place in the alternate universe where the US uses the sterling pound.

@catusfelony It should use your local currency, and nothing in the game says it's set in the US. You merely get to buy the US election at one point, just like Russia did in 2016

Anyway it's all in good fun :8ball:

@oddballdave Oh, it must be because of the en_GB locale on my system then! I didn't think of that.

Anyways this was a fun incremental game, but it got waaay too frantic for me to manage. I find it hard to believe a super mega corp would have some means of getting rid of corpses in containers, or even sell the critters out while they're alive, but I had to manually manage the containers even when I had billions and billions of pounds!! I shouldn't need to work hard to get richer when I'm already rich! :P

Surprisingly, I didn't find many of these clicker games in this jam despite the theme. Heck, even I thought of making one of these before settling for what I made. So this was a nice find, good work.

This is really good, and I like how chaotic it got trying to manage lots of places in the late-game. I also love that you unlock more mechanics as you go with the research and PR systems.

One big complaint is that I really wish it always showed you the cost of your next unlock, since it's hard to tell what your goal should be. I got the moon base, but should I keep playing?

Great work!

visual representation of the tribbles would add to the tension of keeping track of the stock. specially a graphic for dying tribles. it would also help to know what tribles took like to care about them

just rememberd the furry animal in your cover image, they should also be in game.
Terribly Awesome Games

I felt sad when my tribbles died! But I liked the research mechanic. It would be cool if you had some sort of visual of how many tribbles are in the cage (like the actual creatures running around). Really awesome effort for the compo!

Nice game :) However this is not my favourite kind of game (I was clicking buttons randomly), but this is just my personal preference. Also I think illustrating what's happening could be nice. But overall it was a cool entry, good job! :)
