I really like that you used shouting and digging instead of violence for 'defeating' enemies! It also has a nice atmosphere with the bird sounds in the background.

Ok, what I have just played? :D Very interesting, but it could be better if you have added text on the middle of the screen. My harvest 10 tomatoes, it was not easy dude! :)

@cpokered did you buy the shovel for 30 tomatoes first? It is in the right part of the 'shop'. Then you dig holes with the C-key.

The shovel buying process could be clearer.

There is also the possibility that you found a bug :)

Ohhh did not realize you need to buy lol.

I like it, but at first, I did'nt understood that buying things is automatic. Love shouting at big tomato guys.

The pixel artwork of the plants unfolding and the tomatoes growing was really nice. I also thought the soundtrack of nothing but birdsong was really nice and peaceful, until the nefarious forces of big tomato turned up.

The yelling sound for driving people away could sound a bit weird when it was repeated a lot (for example, when I was wildly spamming X).

Overall a really fun game! Good concept executed very well :thumbsup:

I really like this enrty, the farmin mechanics worked really nicely, and then you added the enemies coming into the farm which was a really good idea as you no longer just had to wait for plants to grow there was something there to occupy the player when they were waiting for the tomatoes to gow! The graphics were also really nice for a farming game like such, good job- had a really fun experience!You could maybe have add ed a few types of plants (even though I understand this is a jam and the game is about tomatoes XD)

Very cool and intense game :sweat_smile:. The art is amazing, the text is funny, and the shout sound is amazing! Good job!

Fun little game that suddenly turned into utter chaos and I loved it! Graphics were consistant thoughout which is always a nice touch, audio was a little off as it sounded more like a dog barking then a man shouting. Could'nt find the shovel when the diggers started to arrive, but movement was smooth.
Also noticed the secret sabotage of the lady selling the seeds, she is also driving the tractors, what a tomato traitor!

Neat game fun and challenging

the game was tons of fun, but a bit way too challenging
just way too many enemies spawning

nice game, but hard to play on german keyboard where Y is near X not Z
please use some neutral keys next time^^

A great little game that I hope you develop further post-jam. Reminds me of a game for the ZX Spectrum called 'Pedro', although this is much more fun.
