The rough idea was about the same as my game. I like the art and music, man.

Love the music and the game. Found the controls a touch precise, but that just made it feel more like it was playing on a retro machine :laughing:

What a cute little game! The levels were really nicely designed and well thought out. When I first saw each level I thought to myself "Oh, this is gonna be a breeze," and then the crows come. No matter how perfect you try and time things the crows just mess everything up, and I find that a really clever mechanic. No matter if the crow runs off with your fruit or you go to chase the crow away, your timing gets messed up and the panic sets in.

Music was :ok_hand: on point. Well done!

Best game I've played so far at this jam! Loved the art and music. The upgrades that you receive between the levels also shake up the gameplay just enough to keep things fresh! The little whistle that your character does when you interact with nothing was also a nice touch.

Only piece of criticism I have is that on occasion I have trouble moving where I want to and overshoot the crop I intend to be next to.

Retro art/music and all of these work together make it a excellent game. I like the gameplay part which is easy and busy! Just like playing a real classic vedio game. Thank you for making this!

Music was great. I found it a little difficult to navigate with the keys while plant where dying all over the place :) Nice little game :)

Music and pixel art is beautiful. crows are a nice touch. with the menu and options its feels quite polished!

Good soundtrack and lovely graphics. The delay between the action was a little annoying since you want to perform your actions quickly but i can see its needed to balance the game.

@mortalfosca what menus??? Ahh I think you mean the ones that come with the TIC-80! You should try it out, it's a fun way to make games!

Okay I've rated this ultra high on almost every catagory. Amazingly cute, inventive, charming and fun. Great game based on such a cute idea! and so much more content than I was expecting when it booted up. loved it.

I like the music and sound effects! I didn't quite understand the conditions for completing a stage, but the gameplay itself is easy enough to grasp. Nice game!

Fun couple of minutes, i could see a mobile version of this being a thing.

This would have been perfect on the gameboy! Very charming, but a tough little game too. I found the controls a bit iffy at times, but the pesky crows were kept at bay.

The game is a bit addictive, but eventually I felt like there was a lack of decision-making going on. I just ran from one fire to the next the entire time I was playing, basically mashing the button. It looks and feels good, though!

Surprisingly fun and challenging game, if a little simple... The game certainly knows how to keep you on your toes, for better or worse. Controls are a smidge iffy at times, but I never lost a level... if it's even possible to lose. Also love the little texts at the bottom. Good job!

This was a fun one to play. Sucked me in for several levels. The controls could be a bit odd, causing the character to walk too far, but otherwise a great little gem with pleasant sound.

It was bit difficult sometimes to face the direction I wanted. Also, I think that the watering and harvest cycles were too fast. There is almost no downtime. And all those crows were stressful ^^;

Loved it, most fun I've had so far, kinda wish it introduced new mechanics a teeny bit faster and I didn't understand when the level would end, but otherwise it was great, awesome music and the sound effects are cute. Awesome game.

Fun little game!

The resource management is smart and handles quite well. The Graphics and the music fit really well together and really give it that 8-bit aesthetic. Personally would have prefered controls that favoured the mouse but maybe thats just me!

A really tough but very fun game! Cute artwork and music! The different states of the plants really add a lot of frantic tension to the game and the birds certainly don't help matters! This is a really great game, I love it!

My score: 4375. That was pretty cool! LOL'd at the last bonus item. Controls once and a while didn't do what I expected (maybe I was trying to start doing something right before a previous animation finished, and ended up whistling into thin air instead of watering or picking what I wanted), but only a few times, so wasn't a big deal. Liked the sound and music.

Lovely pixel art. Fun gameplay that is tense but balanced and innovative mechanics. Great entry!

Only minor problem sometimes it felt like I had to double tap to pick the fruit.

The frantic-ness, intuitive controls, cute artwork and nice sounds wrap up to make a really good game! Awesome job!
