**The most highly anticipated and immersive MMORPG/RTS of 2019.** Gold haha

Intriguing story i must say, the complications of friendship, dramatic slave trades, it's got it all ahaha

charming game some bugs, but honestly, i was prepared haha. arcade mode was fun, but the cannons dont work if you place a wall infront of them, that was a bit dissapointing, but solid pice other that that

Awesome game! The art and music fit perfectly. The story and dialog pieces are charming and funny. Good work!

Super cute dialogue! I didn't realize I couldn't swap people out though so I just grabbed the first 3 hehe

The artwork drew me in, and I was excited to see that it was a WebGL build. The dialogue was fun, but I was hoping for a bit more interaction. Still, enjoyed the humor, and am wondering what would have happened if I didn't pick up enough bugs... congrats on the submission!

Story mode doesn't appear to go anywhere, just some dialogue based on who you pick and you win once you've spoken to everyone without any additional interaction.

In arcade mode the ship just instantly sinks. The screen before that has buttons you can click but they don't appear to do anything.

Pretty sure I'm missing something? It might be worth explaining the setup screen.

@tohubohu There is definitely a worth while surprise for not collecting 3 :P

@fireslash Everything you said is 100% accurate lol. Story mode was a last day pivot attempt after we realized the initial core (now arcade mode) was a complete mess. Here at buggy games studio we believe in quantity over quality. A 2 for 1 special amirite!

Look the Graphics are cool, the gameplay needs some improvement in terms of fun! And you don't really start with nothing since you start with a boat! But yes keep working on it, Dialogue is also good

Graphics and dialogues are super cute. It's a buggy bug about bug but I quite like it. On my computer, the mouse disappear when I play the game so it's quite difficilt to click on the buttons.

The artwork in this game was great! I thought that the humor and dialogue was also very good. I will say though that I ran into a lot of problems when it came to using the arcade mode.

That was fun :)
Will the arcade mode be implemented later or did I miss what I was supposed to do ?
Nice artstyle and great dialogues btw ^^

@inferture Thanks! Arcade mode does work but only if you first figure out the puzzle of how to play it. We didn't want to insult any of our players intelligence by providing them instructions on how it worked but would instead let them prove to the world they have big brains by figuring it out themselves. It definitely wasn't due to us running out of time and not implementing proper instructions.

Arcade mode SPOILERS:
- There is a grid which you can build your tiles on (using either cannons or walls)
- You can upgrade walls and cannons
- You lose when all of your cannons are destroyed and conversely win if you destroy all the enemy cannons
- You cannons also won't fire if there is a tile directly in front of them
- Your cannons shoot towards your mouse pointer
- Your cannons are capable of destroying your own tiles
- Tiles also break if they fall from too high

@itsnotagoodtime I get it now, it's because I did not put ony canon on my ship (only protections) so it sank instantly xD
It's pretty fun actually !

I love the quirky visuals, but didn't really get what I was supposed to be doing in the story mode.

A+ for the name.

This is a nice little low-stakes game. Once I was able to understand that the main appeal was the visuals and writing moreso than the challenge, I was all on board! This one has a lot of personality, and I really appreciate that. :)

Has The Oregon Trail feel to it in the story mode, which I love. The arcade mode also has the germination of something that can be great when/if it's joined to story mode. So far so good, I hope you continue to work on this project post-jam.
