Awesome job! My mind is kinda blown that you managed to essentially build an RTS in 48 hours. Brought me back to my time playing SimAnt -- wish there was more!

@stefanie-leitch Thank you so much, Sim ant was the inspiration behind it!

This is super fun! It wasn't super intuitive, but once I figured it out I had a great time. Will definitely revisit another day.

Never thought I needed large scale ant battles before in my life, way to prove me wrong.

My super ants are taking over the world... one waypoint at a time. Great job, had some fun with this one.

I looked at the code and saw that it was done with unity, is it possible to have a web version hosted on itch.io or equivalent ? This looks awesome and I really want to test it but I won't have access to a Windows PC most of the time I will be testing games :s

You could make a multiplayer .io game out of this :).

@tic I have added a web build, Make sure to maximize it as I did not scale the gui to fit a small screen. Hopefully it doesn't have performance issues on the web version.

A multiplayer version of this game would be awesome! Super ants FTW!

I spent way more time on this than I thought I would. One note though, with a large map after a while the game starts choking out because of the amount of ants in the world

Needs some indication of new base scheduled to built. I thought my click did nothing and lciked again, and got two bases at the same place.

@baturinsky I had a line drawing from the nest to where the queen was going. But I used Debug.Drawline so when I built the game debug lines don't show. Woops

Cool game, it was difficult at first, and then also difficult, always difficult.

I peacefully built my colony and suddenly I get crushed by a swarm of ants. I love it :)

@sansman01 @odeyalko Glad you guys enjoyed it. It does seem to either crush you or be too easy, Hard to get a fine balance. But the difficulty slider should help in either direction

This is amazing! I had never played an RTS before, and this game's mechanics are so easy to understand that even I played for a long while. The AI is really impressive for the time period you were given. Have nothing to complain about, I'm so glad I found this game!

I made a similar, but significantly worse in terms of gameplay, game for another jam https://rootstudio.itch.io/hive-mind. I really like RTS with macro focused controls, almost 5/5 from me, it was just missing some sound and a way to know if you're under attack, but I perfectly understand how hard is to make an RTS for a jam. Great job.

Nice to have a RTS I can actually win. Great job! The best game for me fun-wise so far!

I like it because rts logic is most hard game genre and you make it pretty well, it's good hard work in 48 hours!
And I thank you for html5 version, cause test windows builds on mac is really uncomfortable ))

@dragonsbeardgames Cool game! Really enjoyed playing it :). The controls are a bit unintuitive, but was a blast once I got used to it
