Nice little experience, and although there was not much challenge, I enjoyed it! I really like the concept of a snail looking for different shells, really interesting! Nice job!

Good story but the biggest challenge was finding the hidden hole in the ground which i thought was just a part of the sprite apart from that i liked the balloons!

It was good but i would like it if there would be some action. But story wise it was a success!

Really cute game! Probably the main thing I would add would be some sort of indicators to show which ways you can go, and also maybe limit the camera so you can't see the blackness outside the beautiful backgrounds you created. But loved the gameplay and the story!

@adam-gaskins Yeah, I really wanted to get the camera limiting in there but just didn't have time which made me sad, I'll probably do a post-LD update with that + an options menu!

It's really cute and pretty fun to play :)
If I could suggest something, maybe the passages between screens could be more define, I wasn't always able to tell appart background from "doors".

@savvy-community Yeah, we tried that with the darkening of the background in some places but I agree that it isn't as perfect as we'd like, where'd you notice this problem the most? (We're probably gonna push a post-LD patch that fixes this and adds some more dialogue) Only part I can think of that wasn't darkened off the top of my head would be the path from the mountain up to the lava area, and the exit from the hole. Would there need to be clearer indicators? (Sorry about the wall of text! <3)

Cute art and wholesome story, the music was also pleasant to listen! At the beginning I was a little confused about what to do, but then I found the cave and figured out how to proceed. The abilities given by the shells looked cool (especially the balloon one!) but the "puzzles" dealing with them were too straightforward. After the cave the game was pretty much just going up, and then coming back down. But as this was a jam game, I understand the limitations. Good job that you got it finished!

In the beginning, I was able to go around the big boulder which was a bit confusing for the story. (I somehow missed the hole, I think I spent most time finding the hole... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

A minor detail: when I was replaying the game, I noticed that the keys from last play were still there (but didn't work).
