Other than that, the art is really cute, the music does the job, and it's pretty promising overall. I liked the little scenario at the beginning, though it's a bit long I think :)
Nice job! I thought the mood and art in this game were done excellently, the animations in the opening sequence were also very refined. I feel that the game could be a lot better had there been stronger indications for what different things represented and how they can be interacted with in gameplay. For example: the ghost enemies, with the game being a platformer, I naturally assumed that they could be jumped on and killed but ended up being incorrect. The level design in their introductory section also kind of enforced this, with it being highly claustrophobic and difficult to dodge them. There's obviously a lot of polish that needs to be done as well, for things such as the level/screen transitions and collisions. But either way, I really enjoyed this! Looking forward to playing more games from you.
@megalink Thanks for playing and for your feedback. I will try to apply it in my next games. Glad to see that you enjoyed this. I played Bacterial Infection man and it was too evil for me , LOL! but really you have made a great game in a short time. Nice work.
@siarhei-pilat Thanks for playing and for feedback. I fixed some bugs in v1.2(if you feel like playing again). Actually, I started late. So I was not able to focus on improving my actual gameplay. I will definitely prirotize better for my next game jam and focus more on the actual gameplay.
Overall, good job with the time given. Cheers!
- The music was disturbing, at first I didn't like it but in the end it made sense to give that mood to the game.
- I LOVE how you approach the theme! Way to think different. You start with the Robot, the robot's name is nothing. GENIUS! I just thing you shouldn't have to explain that so obviously, but still good job.
- The ending was a bit dark and unexpected I just wish I had enough time to read everything you wrote there.
- Game play is simple, a bit unpolished. The hit boxes were unclear, and the scenario elements were hard to distinguish from the background elements.
Fun game overall, good job :D
@hcursino Thanks for playing and for the detailed feedback. Glad to see that you enjoyed the game and will definitely improve on the points you mentioned.
EDIT: It looks like you've fixed some of the bugs in newer versions I did not play them sorry :(
Well, maybe they did, but he didn't understand anyway (because he has no brain :joy: )
The sound effects are hilarious xD especially collecting oil.
The artstyle is weird. Not the best sprites but smooth and cool animations.
Too bad I took Nothing, and turned him into nothing though
## Congratulations on your first JAM!
