Nothing left for Jim! by GreenDinoGames
Have you ever wondered, who cleans up the mess, that our usual heros make? Play as Jim, the construction worker and prepare a race track for another race to run. The clou: He has to bring all items from the finish line back to the start line, so the race can start with nothing left in his pockets. Can you beat the game in just 40seconds? Because, if some items are not placed where they belong in time, you better run. Ha! Get it?!
Features: - Random level generation - Cameo appearance from 2 famous guys - And Jim!?
Have fun and thank you for playing!

I found it very hard to control though. I think locking the rotation of the player could help. I would also say having cheer sound vary a bit, as it got grating pretty quickly. There is quite a bit there for so little time.
I love how goofy this game is, starting with the premise of the dude putting the items in place before the race and having this generally cheerful mood. My favourite part has got to be theme execution - I mean it's kinda an opposite of theme but also leading to the specific phrasing of the theme. Another thing I love is how at the finish line there is Sanic (?) standing at the top place and then you go to the starting line and find Sanic is already there. Now that's fast!
One thing that could be really improved: have keyboard-controller menu instead of mouse controlled! >.<
It's already quite annoying whenever one controller is used only for menu and nowhere in the game, but here it's particularly distracting when I have to briefly move my hand away from item-placing keys so that I can click the button with a mouse.
Other thing - I feel this kind of gameplay could benefit from more behind-the-back perspective rather than the skewed one. As it is now, it's somewhat tricky to map the visible directions vs the WSAD keys to press.
Either way, I enjoyed this entry quite a lot, largely because of its Humour factor. Well done!
(by the way, my best run: 25 seconds with both extras)
Anyway, good job!
What I wanted to note was mostly already mentioned in comments (camera position, and maybe a bit better controls - it takes ages for Jim to stop, and he drowns each single time).
Keep up the good work!
Since I could not really experience the game I wont rate you on overall and fun.
The Interpretation of the theme was very unique, I quite liked it. Also overall the visuals and audio was nice
Oh, and i appreciated to see the Cameo appearance of this 2 famous guys ;)
The audio gets a bit repeptitive, but that's about all the bad things I can say about it. You made a ver fun game, great job!!!

The movement is quite awkward. I imagine it's because of the unusual angle that the player views the race at. That plus being able to turn the character in any direction makes it feel off. The jump unfortunately is also pretty wonky. Seems like it requires some distance to clear the gaps, but some of the land masses are very narrow. Also found myself jumping twice in a row by accident a lot. Maybe add a brief cooldown before the character can jump again?
The audio is suitable for a racing theme, but does get repetitive after a while. Graphics don't really stand out, but they work fine and look cohesive.
Overall, it's an interesting take on the theme and fairly solid entry. Just needs a few tweaks with movement.
