Could you build the game for web? It seems really polished and I would love to play it!

Beautiful game. I loved the motion trails, the solar explosions, the lens flare, the halo effects - just really stunning. The music is perfect also. I discovered several different kinds of stars, asteroids and planets, a black hole, and of course the nova/nebula stuff. Very neat.

Very nice game! I enjoyed the mood and atmosphere. I liked how ya'll implemented the supernova. Very nicely done! The only issues that I had was a crash, but generally everything felt smooth.

Gorgeous visuals. It was fun to just play around with stuff. Explosions really murdered my computer at times though.

Crashed here after pumping way too much energy into one star and then detonating. But a lovely view to crash on.

Unfortunately, I could not play a lot, the laptop could not stand it. But beautiful graphics, great music and good implementation. I will wait for optimization to play more)

@neverix thank you, will look into it!!
@dob Thank you so much, that all means a lot, really. And I'm really, really happy to know that people are liking the soundtrack :D
@microwerx Thank you!! Yes, that crash happens sometimes, we didn't have time to fix it unfortunately.
@nisovin Thank you! Yeah, my computer suffered a lot also
@iori-branford Sorry for the crash! But I'm so happy that you liked it <3
@mad-brokli Thank you so much!! means a lot!
@daniiln Thank you! We know it's very resource intensive, I'm really sorry for that. Turns out simulating a small universe is quite intense for a computer, who would've known lol

Hey, seems like a nice game but it crashed (and froze my computer for about 20 min but whatever). Liked the music, although simplistic. I wonder if it gets enhanced as the world gets enhanced.
Cool idea overall

@pl4typus Sorry for that! That crash only happens sometimes, and we didn't have the time to fix it. Only a few computers seem to freeze when it happens, usually you can just Alt + F4. Thank your for the feedback!

Beautiful and very relaxing! Had one crash at ultra + 4k was pushing it ;) a drop in resolution solved it!

Though it lacks in content, it is polished. The music is extremely pleasant to listen to, and the visual effects implemented are great, such as the use of moving cloud textures on the inside of the star. I experienced a crash, though to be fair, I was running the game on ultra and right-clicked straight into a blue supergiant. Overall, a fun and short experience. Very nice work.

That was a relaxing combination of sound / gameplay. Felt a little laggy with a big resolution, but it stopped lagging afterwards. Great submission!!!

I've created beautiful colorful galaxies during this very relaxing experience. I like the balance between charging up and destroying that you have to learn in order to give birth to your universe. Beautiful effects and music.

The game is very good. You can add more features after the jam like create satelites, planets, and other things.

A very soothing game! The music is great, really sets the mood. Even though there isn't a ton to do, it's enjoyable. I think you could really expand this into something big. The visuals were great, although I did get some slowdowns when exploding a large sun.

Oh hell yeah! I loved the fact that I was like okay, now if I add more matter it shoooould turn into a dwarf of some sort AND IT ACTUALLY DID! Awesome game/simulation!

It's not a game in the general sense, it's a visual toy, I would say :) I love space! You bought me outright. It's so cool how everything flies and planets are formed and particles merge. Done perfectly. The music is really suitable. I spent half an hour on this thing, thank you!

@thatmalzan @alexascher @croewens @pixamentory @fiwon123 thank you all so much!! Means a lot!!
@tommyflower Thank you so much! For me personally, it's awesome to know that the game design worked and the music matched with the game. Thank you.
@mharring Thank you!! Yeah, there isn't that much to do. I ended up spending most of the Jam time researching for the game and recreating the mechanics of our own universe, it was a lot of fun.
@rroni YES!! It's amazing to know it was so intuitive, our game design worked! Thank you, means so freaking much! :D
@daria-toni No, thank you! Means so much! So glad to know you not only played it to rate the game, but also enjoyed it. Thank you!

@neverix hi friend, sorry for the late response! We had some issues with the web build relating to the shaders. I did however upload Mac and Linux versions, if that helps you and you still want to play it.

This was a gorgeous entry. The effects were a bit much for my laptop to handle but I did put them on once in a while to have a gander. I'd say my only complaints are that it's a little tough to see the black hole that I (assume) I made, and that the camera seems to move around a bit strangely when things get too intense graphically.

On the whole though this is a really relaxing little entry. Great work!

Great stuff! I really like this - I like how rather than having videogamey elements like score and enemies and lives and stuff, it's just about creating something cool and exploring the physics of the system you've created.

It reminds me a lot of a game I made at the GMTK game jam: https://lukenofurther.itch.io/singularity - it was also about bringing together little motes of matter to create a star ⭐ Hope you enjoy it!
