Can't find the game .exe, just your source files.

Can you post exe for this game?

The client doesn't seem to have a build, just the project files. Also, do we need to run the server in order to play ?

Can you make it so we can play? Looks cool though.

Now everything should work, we had to remove the link previously because we had really serious connection issues: for some reason websockets library didn't work in the actual build so we had to rewire everything up using different library.

Sorry for the inconvinience to all who tried/waited/was interested in the game :)

We will bring the Post-LD version sooner. Including:
* sounds that were created during LD that didn't end up in the game because we had not time
* better general stability, less bugs, etc
* bots to keep online active
* Better UI

Seemingly no one online :( I found one battle in the beginning, but nothing more...
You should include a single player in LD games.. Ships with randomly selected guns would have been enough
The visuals look good, I like all the different gun options.
Also does this have audio? I did not get any audio

I am unsure why but I am winning so there is that.

Admiral Duck mc Cluck fought well in many battles on the sea, he won none, but still... It's the thought that matters.

Fun with the online multiplayer, and I was lucky enough to have people online at the same time as I was playing. I liked the visuals a lot, great job!

A little confused as to how to actually play the game after building the ship. Great graphics, but you should have an exit button in-game so I don't have to force close.

Very awesome game, very polished in almost all aspects. The humour is by far the best I have seen in the jam, and the instructions are very well made. The graphics are quite good as well, lovely water animation and background models, and the weapons themselvess are pretty cool how they adjust to the boats and weighs it down.

My only negatives with the game is the audio, since it had no music and when there were a lot of fire noises it kinda saturated the audio and clipped in an unpleasent way. Also, I think it's a bit of a stretch for the theme, just because the first boat is called nothing you get a pass.

But overall its one of the best games I have seen in the jam. Incredible job!!!

Very cool! I like the graphics and style, and it's fun to build a sweet boat!

I had a hard time understanding how effective the different guns were. Is there any reason to keep the ones w/ lower attack values? I ended up not completing the game. I didn't feel like I was progressing because I kept winning and didn't seem to be getting newer stuff. I made it to the second Wandering.

I can there being lots of ways to expand this game. Trading in unwanted guns for exclusive stuff, active abilities, more physics-based combat, etc.

Great job, especially under jam conditions!

The idea was interesting and the graphics was good. The gameplay is kinda okay, but I would have liked a bit more to do. Overall is this a interesting little jam game.

It's a very cool concept and I liked the graphics. Some tooltip, or a nameplate, on the ship equipment would be nice, so I would know what I'm equipping and what the numbers on it actually mean. This way I would feel I have more impact on what my ship is and what it can do.

The gameplay felt very passive, I think I would prefer to be able to click to attack - even if it was just for show ;).

FPS falls slightly in a battle where there are many guns. In any case, the game looks attractive, however, I could only play with the bot (no online at this moment mb :smirk: )

I never won, but it's impressive that you build in match making, as well as bot AI in this time. Well done!

Nice models and beautiful colors impress me a lot. Maybe you can make the battle part controllable, that would be more funny, but considering it's a jam game, I think it is really amazing!

Very very good game, I loved it! I liked the idea and I liked the excecution. Only thing was that the water was a bit glitchy and it was stuttering all the time and I also found out randomly how to duplicate items (which did not help at all because a boat full of missiles can't do much lol) but other than that I loved the game. Sadly didn't get to play against other players but still it was fun. Want to see more of it!

Graphics are very good, but the gameplay is confusing and almost non existent I think. Does it matter where I place guns on the ship? The progression is very unclear as well. Is there a benefit to not placing guns on all slots?

EDIT: I've now read the description here, so some things are more clear but they should probably still have been ingame.

Aside from it's incompletion (I ran out of boats but could still use the Destroyer, and I never got anything like admiral) It's a really addicting strategy game.

I wish I could play against other people lol, but BreadBeard got the best of me in the end

Wow, this Ludum Dare page is looking fantastic. I'm a marketing guy and I know the importance of the main Landing Page. I likes the game idea as well, well done. :)
