Nice little game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/r6FwX_V0zMo

Now I don't want to brag or anything but I think that I am the world record holder in Hadee 100% Ghandi run:

Short but fun game, I found it from @jupiter-hadley youtube video and wanted to see if it was possible to not murder everyone, cool that it was :smile:

I thought that I am the monster. Oh well, it seems like these was a monster behind my back. Too short but fun game.

this made me laugh and has clever mechanics that are kinda satisfying to use .... i remember of Doki Doki universe, but obviously a lot creepier ... the character face looking up feels like the kind of humor you would see in a Ricky and Morty episode ... this scores very high on the humor, mood and audio for my taste

Thanks @simon-rahnasto @bilalch213 @velvetlobster for the comments! I definitely wanted to prioritize experience over game length. As I was presenting at PAX Australia, I was only able to dedicate a day to making the game, so probably could have included more content had I had more time. But anyways, thanks again, I'll be sure to check out your games as well :smile:

Oh man. Is the fact that it remembers your final score (and kill count) a bug, or a deliberate feature? ^_^;

Very simplistic but it won me over with the little things like the punching bag and the general playing with expectations. XD

@ryusui definitely deliberate :slight_smile:

I enjoyed the quirky comments. I only found out later that there was a monster at the end when looking at the comments. I thought you were calling me the monster.
Had fun though, good job.

I like the way that the punch mechanic feels and how the enemies break apart.

This is a good proof of concept but there is no challenge and I think it still needs more to really be a game. Also, I think the game freaks out if I fall over the right edge, and I had to restart the game.

I wish the monster had more health! Good job with the punching mechanic though :)

Haha, very cute. And yes, I did get the whole "oh I see, it's pointing at ME as the monster"-vibe. Also killed the actual giant-monster-me xD Fun stuff.

9631, time taken 12, zero murders. I like it a lot, sans the fact that the game doesn't reset. Love the punching and that you can literally tear people apart unwittingly. Naturally on the first try I went peaceful, but decided to murder everyone for XP and got called a monster. (Then fell out of the level and restarted.) Nice idea, sound execution, and a 5 for humour, but it'd need more to be a proper game. Good work.

Short game, lol I ended up discovering the monster first but dealt no damage, so I went on the mission to the right first. The rigibody physics result in some really springy bounces sometimes (I even fell off the map once :sweat_smile:)

The boss music as really spooky though, nice job on that part. As for the ending...I got 10k+ score, but the time taken, and murders brought it down to -7k :confused: (maybe I took too long)

The punching and effects were pretty satisfying. I like the take on the theme: I didn't start with nothing; I started with all the experience from past games which led me down a certain path. On my first playthrough, I thought the sign was pointing at me. Didn't realize that wasn't the end until I saw people getting scores in the comments. Maybe the sign should be taller to point over the player? But I did feel like the sign applied to me :(

Loved it, well done!

@madbarron well that was the emotion I wanted to enact in the player, that they were the monster. But if they didn't pick up on that, I wanted there to be an ending where they've built up all this experience, and yet it ended up being useless as the monster only had 1hp. And they're forced to walk back through all the death and destruction they caused.

Thanks for playing anyways!
