CHANGELOG

1.0.0

  • Initial Upload
  • Probably added some bugs

1.0.1

  • Fixed a bug where pressing up would crash the game. Whoops

Every version after this was uploaded after the compo time. No content was added or altered, only bugfixes were applied.

1.0.2

  • Fixed a bug where music would not work correctly after one game
  • You can now hold R to reset a level

1.0.3

  • Actually fixed the bug where music would not work correctly after one game
  • Going out of view now shows an indicator of your position
  • Reduced time you have to hold R to reset from 2 seconds to 1 second

IMPORTANT: I can't provide a HTML5 version this time because the game makes heavy use of Gamemaker Studio's audio sync group feature which is not supported on the HTML5 target platform. Sorry about that.

Very nice and the Soundtrack is a 10/10. I just developed suicidal thoughts on the journey of finding every piece to unlock the full Track.
Was worth it tho because hearing it cured my depression uwu

I suck at platforming so hard, so I couldn't make it to the end. Soundtrack is nice, graphics are amazing. Nice entry!

Nice job. I love the soundtrack with unlocks. That is a really cool way to make collecting all the items actually feel good!

This has a really solid atmosphere and I appreciate that you went with a more epistemological approach to the theme. It feels fresh. The controls feel smooth and responsive although some of the more delicate jumps were tricky to pull off given the speed of everything. Really nice music too and I like the way it builds up.

Wow this is awesome! I'm really impressed. The low-fi graphics and effects are nice to look at. The intro is engaging and the intermixing of story and new gameplay elements is top-notch. The music is truly great with a nice build-up. Also the difficulty is just right and the checkpoint-system is perfect.

You did a great job in such a short amount of time! Thank you!

Great game! Controls fluidly. Looks nice (albeit a bit noisy). Mechanics are simple yet interesting. Overall love it!

Spoilers ahead:

The "world is collapsing" level felt fake. I could stand in one spot and die repeatedly without the world collapsing.

Very nice platformer! I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/PWHzHVXDNtQ

Nope! Nope! Nope! I'm going to see if there is a true ending to this game. Give a me a second!

Edit: Unless there is a music note I'm missing, I don't think you can get a true end :(

This game's got some style, and a lot of fun visuals and humor. Great intro that sets up the mood and theme really well too.

One of the most polished games I've seen, great job! I really like platformers and playing this game was super satisfying! The controls felt tight and level design is just awesome.

very cute character, the texts add an intriguing narrative layer to it, the death and restart cycle feel a bit like Celeste, particularly the levels where you have to escape your other side

I'm going to echo a lot of the comments already here, but I found the soundtrack to be awesome. Really satisfying to unlock too.

There are a lot of little touches in this game that make the experience so good. The subtle particle effects, the sounds, the controls felt pretty tight, the constant feel of progress. Despite things getting trickier towards the end with regular deaths (I'm clearly not a great platform player), I felt intrigued and compelled to keep playing.

I particularly liked the minimal style and the falling-through-space-and-time animation of the main character at the start.

So i liked the starting and how gravity has no effect on me and then i become attracted to ground lol...wish we could have experienced some of non gravity when we were born up unitl some age point? but im just getting ahead of myself...decent platformer, a bit hard on the greeny jumps rest all was good...i played the final version so everything seemed fine... like that too..BUT what the hell happened in the end? I was so confused like is there more to it or what? Anyhow then i came in comments to comment and then i relaised aah im not the only one! HAHA anyways GG.

The kind of game I would spend hours playing. Be sad to be so short. It is a very finished and polished game. Just need to get bigger. It reminded me FEZ, especially the music.

Congratulations!

Wow, haven't seen a game like this in a while during a Ludum Dare, and a Compo at that!

First of all, i love the simplistic design that you made, it's clean, consistent, and doesn't hurt the eye.
The effects and sounds fit very well, they almost blended with the music, bfxr came in handy too i see :P

The gameplay was fun and not too challenging, except for the last part where i think it should've been a bit slower when you die.

I loved the littlbe pieces of extra levels where you can collect the music parts, it made me want to replay the game because of it, music itself was pretty good too, pleasant and ambient.

You've simply done a good job, well done!
