Some evil aliens had abducted The Fox, so they can run their evil experiments and put probes into uncomfortable places. But there is a big problem -- there is no oxygen on the alien ship, so, even though The Fox managed to break free, it still has some challenges to face while running away from the ship catching the precious air with its lungs, spending its life like a currency

  • Can be played using arrow keys or WASD, [Space] or [Z] to jump
  • The Fox can cling to walls, bounce and move while mid-air
  • Each move reduces amount of oxygen available. When its level reaches zero, The Fox dies and level restarts

Good. I kept dying on the first level though.

Hard, but great game!
The 8-bit sound effects are powerfull and the pixel graphics are nice an simple.
The screen shakes a little too much, though.

Went to the end!

Innovative little idea for the story of the game. I like the simple graphics, also the sounds are good in the game. However, I had difficulties to get through the first level at all, I don't see any chance for myself in the second one. But maybe I'm just too bad. :D

Awesome game, but too hard in my opinion. I couldn't get past level three.

Wow, this game is a real challenge! I really like concept and execution, you are basically forced to speedrun the game, but in your own time? It may sound paradoxical, but it's actually quite genius. Very well done.

It was hard, with not much leeway at all, but it wasn't too bad nonetheless. I also love the simple art style and sound effects. Nice job!

It was hard but I got to the end. In the future you can add more levels and you can make it downloadable

On first glance, this already looks and feels like a vry polished little puzzle platformer. Good job!
The controls are very responsive and quick. Collision detection and general gemeplay speed are well balanced as well. The art and animations are cool but some background music would've been nice :)

I had some problems with the wall jumping mechanics. The frame timings in which I can press away from the wall and still perform the wall jump could be a little more lenient. Also, the difficulty is pretty high, especially the first level does not allow some kind of error. It almost frustrated me to the point of dropping the game. But after finishing the first one, the rest was pretty much a cake walk (aside from the try&error path finding)

So, aside from some balancing issues, i'd say this game is pretty good for what it is :)

I TRIED MORE THAN FIFTY TIMES BUT CAN NOT MANAGE TO PASS FIRST LEVEL!!!
But... Here is the funny part. I am still trying to pass first level and i'll post a photo here if i can. It is very addictive and feels like fox souls :D

And as a suggestion you can decrease volume of pillars falling and add a background music. Maybe you can start moving pillars when game starts so it can be a little timing game. Cheers!

I think this game suits more the "Running out of time" theme, than the current one.

There is probably one tip worth mentioning: Fox jumps away from the wall it is clinging only if it is perfectly close to it. This means you should not move away from the wall **before** you press the jump button.

We probably should have done this, but we decided not to implement delay after jumping as we thought it would feel weird

@hugimugi7, but time is not limited, moves are

I liked the graphics. The game was hard, maybe you should add some life to the character.

Loved the game, this is what I love to see from LD. The graphics were nice, even if the alien ship was a bit bare, and levels were satisfying to finally complete!

Well done!

Built by hardcore platformers I guess; I couldn't beat level 3.

However, I did really enjoy the visuals, and the sfxr sound effects were great. I've never played a platformer as a fox!

I did really like the fact that the moves, rather than the time, are limited. This lets you sit and figure out how to achieve victory. I also enjoyed the short and concise levels. This almost made the difficulty alright, since you didn't have to go back as far as you might have in a different game. However, a difficulty setting which slowed the moving items down would have been really nice for casual gamers like myself.
