Blood of My Enemies by Gargantus
Blood of My Enemies is a roguelike platformer. It has a basic, but addicting combat system. Before you can get into the fight you have to donate some of your blood to a doctor. The more blood you'll donate, the more you will earn. You can buy stuff such as swords and helmets to boost your stats. The game was made by two people, I did the programming and Alex10-0 did the sprites.

Controls: Move Left - Left Arrow Move Right - Right Arrow Jump - Space Attack - E Buy items - E Choose blood - Mouse

Yeah there should have been an animation before enemy attacks, I don't know what do you mean by "great start".
@gredgie
I'll add it to the controls, don't worry :)
@bentebent
I was focused on fixing bugs more than polishing the game so you're right, the attacks could be more juicy.
Glitch: When I started the game I by accident fall through the left and the camera didn't follow as it suppose to. But when I tried going to the right I suddenly appeared in the castle. Started playing normal and When I died and re-spawned next to the doctor I couldn't enter the castle. So I went back West and fell with purpose this time trying to go inside the castle down there and it let me in. I for a moment though the game was like that, but when I restarted the game I had no problem going inside the castle. Hope you can solve the issue.
Overall, great job!
The "spending blood" mechanic is a little bit different than most out there.
The shop UI can be a bit more detailed about what you are actually upgrading.
Overall had a fun time, although the combat is a little difficult to judge until you get hold of the super long sword :stuck_out_tongue:
Graphics are nice and consistent, although adding the darker black colour around the edge of the player/enemies would definitely make them pop more from the background.
The life mechanic was a little confusing at first, I was unsure why you'd want to sacrifice so much when you die so quick. Maybe I was missing something.
Great entry, well done :grin:
