# Game:

Here's the general flow of the game:

  • Battle through the Sofa Kingdom as Pursey. Collect coins, find your way, and defeat the bad touchy hands!
  • The game can be beaten in only a few minutes so we hope you enjoy the complete play though.
  • Shoot coins at enemies to stun and kill them.
  • Pound the ground to bounce coins so you can catch them in your pouch.
  • You can't really die, and we give you coins if you run out, so you can see and enjoy the entire game.

Really cool aesthetic, love the graphics and sound! I like the levels and the movement, everything feels quite satisfying. Not sure if I understand how health works, as I can't pick up coins from the floor. In any case good job!

Amazing charm! The entire aesthetic is first class, really great job! Like Torculus said, I don't really understand the health mechanic, or what I'm supposed to do with coin drops.

Great theme and atmosphere! Controls a little awkwardly and I am terrible at platformers. It's good that you cannot lose though! I dig the Oh Fortuna cover

@dxk2294 Yeah it is a little hard to convey how it works. You have to ground pound a coin in the ground to pop it up and catch it, you then use the coins in your purse to shoot enemies by left clicking. The second gif in the details shows how you pick up coins

What a cool and fun idea, good job guys!
Loved the music, it's like traveling back in time and reminded me of old micky mouse and cuphead. Another thing I liked is collecting back the coins, you have to hit the ground so it bounce and then you take it.
Good job and good luck!

Cool game that could be played in the evening, if you release it on the play market, I think the audience will like it:)

I love the graphics and audio! The platforming was simple and effective! A very enjoyable game. I didn't understand how to capture the coin-enemies until the last level, must have missed shooting the coins. I love how you applied the theme to the game in a unique way!

Love the artstyle and theme. Sound was nice even though the Soundtrack got really repetetive. Overall very nice game

Graphics are nice, don't understand health mechanic as well. Don't have anything left, but I still don't die and can walk smoothly through the levels.

Very good themeing and style. Thought the coin purse "getting coins from above" mechanic was fresh and interesting! Some suggestions:
- it is wasn't very clear how to kill enemies. I almost wish there was a way to "double hit" them with either mechanic to kill them.
- collecting coins from above got kind of annoying after awhile.
- some of the sounds felt kind of grating after awhile (namely the dizzy sound effect). It happens frequently, so something less intense could be better.

On the whole though, it was a really solid entry. Great job ya'll!

The faces are terrifying as they are hilarious. I like the idea of the player being a wallet and coins that make for your weapon and life force. I'm a huge fan of puns, and these ones hit the spot. :joy:

I played through all the levels except I got stuck on the boss, which I think might be the last one? The biggest issue I was having was understanding how the combat system worked. Sure you can't really take damage or die, but that became a detriment when I was at the boss, where I take it the only way to win is to kill it, and I just wasn't able to do anything. I would shoot coins, but I wasn't able to collect any of them, and the ground pound only seemed to work inconsistently and was overall very frustrating.

The art is very humourous, although I think the sprites kind of look way more detailed than the backgrounds? My favourite sprites are the evil dust bunnies. The music also followed a goofy tone; I liked the little vinyl pops in the title screen theme. Improvisational jazz was not quite what I was expecting with this sort of weird and wacky idea, but it was very welcome in my ears.

Overall, it was quite fun to just navigate around the area. Despite the levels being maze-like, I was never really lost, which is good. I just wish the game's main mechanics were more consistent.

Wow, very beautiful and unique style, the music is so well suited, it is similar to Cuphead somehow, but way more funny and cheering. Great game!

Very cool, only problem I ran into was sometimes the coins got stuck on ledges, and I wasn't able to get them back!

Overall, very impressive, good art, animation, and music.

Great art direction and gameplay. It reminds me a lot of Rayman 1. The dancing pins were a nice touch. Sometimes coins would pop out of me when collecting them. I wasn't sure if I had reached max capacity or if it was a built in mechanic when I jumped, but either way that didn't make much sense.

Great enemies, great game. I especially liked the title screen sequence. Any devs that take the time to make a good title screen deserves praise. I liked the sceen transition effect as well

OK so if it were up to me y'all would get disqualified - 'cause cmon, support shiba?
How could you do anything BUT an amazing game with that sort of gear - right!?
Anyhow ^^# - really cool game!
Life is currency? More like currency is life! Yeah - pretty clever!
Your game's vibe is pretty unique - with the musique and all - the intro where it did seem to me that a few innuendos were in the mix (maybe it's just me lol ^^#) - but most of all... it's really really satisfying to play!
And gobble off 'em coins
Plus pretty forgiving if when you lose life, it scatters around and doesn't eventually despawn.
I mean IDK what y'all are up to when an LD is not up but I feel that tin's got potential - for what it's worth.

Good job you guys, really enjoying, great game :-D <3
