You're an necromancer that uses your own life to summon creatures and defende your tower, luckly you have an alchemist partner that can make potions to heal you, but them both need to hurry, the human army is relentless and won't stop their attack until their king is dead.

Make items combinations to summon monsters and defend your tower:

The Alchemist can craft potions to heal the Necromancer and cure some status. The Necromancer can summon minions to fight foes.

Note. When your life bar is green, you'll lose hp over time, but the alchemist can craft a potion to stop this.

Wow! Pretty amazing game! I loved the 3D low poly graphics and the atmosphere was well portrayed. Good and consistent game. I would really appreciate it if you also played my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/spirit

It would be nice to have an executable version available for download. It does not run very well on my browser. When you maximize the game screen, it loses part of the screen.

Awesome graphics! It took me a bit to understand the rules, as the instructions font was a little hard for me to read. It got very hard very quick, but I could totally see this more developed with more complex spells and enemies. The controlling 2 characters reminded me of the game "the world ends with you", which is a good thing! Great work

It was quite confusing and complex at first but after I got the hang of it I really loved it. The graphics may be the best part along with the voice acting lol. Very cool game!

This was fun! It took a bit before I could produce combos quickly enough to fight back against the weaves of enemies. My one suggestion would be to adjust the size of the canvas a bit. Perhaps, adjust it dynamically to the screen size? I had to zoom out a bit for the canvas to fit on my screen.

Pretty nice entry! I wasn't sure about how health worked at first, but quickly figured out how to heal poisoning/raise health. In the end, I was spamming ranged creatures and healing as fast as I could haha. Pretty fun! The graphics are amazing as well, congrats!

I really like the art and sounds! But the controls (for me at least) where harder to use because it looks like it's for 2 players... It is a really fun game though! :D

Cool game, took some time to get into since I forgot the recipes from the intro paper the first time I played, but after that it got really fun. A good amount of button smashing and then I saw a big boss arriving though while still dealing with the minions I lost to him.

I would make a recommendation because you don't really know how far you come in the game, you could make a simple timer or show what wave or lvl you're at, it would also make the game competitive since then people can tell how far they have come in the comments!
Enjoyable game!

love the art, and icons. learning curve makes it frustrating initially and could have done with being slightly more intuitive but very enjoyable once I got the hang of it. really quite impressive, well done!

check out my lil game if you can.

An enjoyable experience. Well balanced to be hard but not impossible. Keeps you on your toes the whole time, so you have to click fast with both hands. The controls are well done. Could do with more instructions. I understood what two of the potions do after several tries, and those were enough to win. There is one more I think?

Love the artstyle. Got this comic bookish feel to it. plus the lowpoly. game does fully keep you on your toes because I was busy looking at a combo i was making, looked up to a huge wave and went "oh lordie" i died :(

Amazing mechanics, very innovative in general.
It was confusing for me at first but when I got the grip of it I loved it!
It becomes very difficult later on, so I couldn't really beat it xD
Great job guys, this could be a full fleshed steam game if you guys keep updating it!

You customise a creature using a,s,d then you spawn it with w. Then you combine the eye and the green using left and down (up to confirm) to change the healthbar to red. Then you combine green and red using down and right (up to confirm) to refill your bar back to full. Repeat untill you have killed the enemies? This seems very complicated, so maybe I am playing it wrong but this does seem to kind of work. My point is that it is quite complicated and there is no interactive tutorial taking the player through the various steps.

@mika-la-grand yeah, there is just a text tutorial.
Would be better if the waves were divided in levels, but we cut-off this resourse to secure time =)

Nice graphics, this one!

Obviously I skipped the tutorial and was doing stuff randomly at first, but it got easy once I learned how the crafting system works. Only complain is that you have to be so focused with the "crafting" that you'll be missing most of the graphics and fighting. I believe some interaction with the actual fights would add well..

Very confusing at first, but once you get into it, it's really fun! I like how the enemies that died are there when you restart. Is there a win condition?

Loved it! Really great job! The gameplay was a bit like if Magicka and a clicker had a baby. It feels like there's something there to develop even further. At some point I'm not sure what happened, but I couldn't make anymore potions. Maybe some extra on-screen communication could have helped. Voice over narration is an enormous plus!

Nice game! I really enjoyed the graphics and the environment it created. Like the others I had a hard time getting the combos correct at first but got it after a couple of times. The only problem I had was my eyes were more drawn to the buttons to get the combos then the actual fighting. Good job!

Cool! Really great execution on the art and sound effects. I wasn't sure if the game was intended more as a single player game controlling both or as a two player game with one person controlling each character but I'm guessing it was intended as the latter.
Things some feature requests I"d love to see if you made this into a full game: As you're pressing buttons to put together your spell I'd love a visual "queue" of what you've pressed so far. Or maybe an indicator that floats upwards after something was crafted. I'd also love to see the recipes that were shown to me during the intro screen could be accessed later.
Great game! Well done!

I played it once, got very confused and prepared to comment on the learning curve. Then I played it a second time, figured out the mechanics of healing myself and just spamming troops, and got s victory. This still leaves me conflicted, though. I did not know what kind of units I was making, I was just spamming random combinations of A/S, S/D, and A/D keys. Meanwhile, I did figure how to self heal (down/right) and turn the green bar red so health doesn't drop (left/right). I did not see what the third option did (left/down) so I stopped doing that.

I also noticed I was keeping an eye on the cooldowns and health bar below rather than on the fight on the upper half of the screen. I did notice a boss appear near the end, but my attention was quickly pulled down again when the time came to flood the field with fighters.

The low poly art is pretty cool. Think the color palette got a little muddy here and there, too many saturated color tones blending together. A reduction in colors used overall, as well as some saturation balancing would probably help a lot in that regard.

The voice-over at the start had some very noticeable background noise.

All in all, an excellent entry that I wished I could've seen more of, instead of looking at cooldown times at the bottom of the screen.

Since there's no order on the way you press the combinations, it's easy to just "smash" the arrowws and the AWSD in order to almost explode the battlefield's with an infinite army hehe...

Good mechaniics, it's like a crossover betweeen a "generic siege game with a magika", the graphics are aewsome, but i think that you could disappear with the bodies over timee since the batlefield got completely covered by bodies...
