Particle Overload by Turtwiggy
A weekend LD44 project:
Play any of your music and enjoy the reactive environment. Collect points while being pushed around. NOTE: For best experience, decrease game's audio via windows panel and increase audio in-game.
There is a default music track (royalty-free, but not mine sadly) included, but click "load" and then "play" to enjoy your own music.
- "WASD" to move.
- Sit on the music pad if you just want to listen to music and not play the game!
- Getting off the music pad starts reducing your "music" power. increase this by getting the green boosters.
- Avoid red boosters, which the minions are trying to push you in to.

I really enjoyed this music game. I just took the music from my own LD entry, just because I have no other wav. file on my computer ;)

I like the concept, but I think that a different game structure (maybe shorter levels with different songs) will be a great way to continue the prototype!

I used reach for the summit from the celeste OST and was impressed, it's very ambitions to try and make a game and music visualizer in such a short time frame, and you did a good job.

Pretty cool visualizer, though it took me a while to realize the volume slider needs to be way up to see the particles. I don't really see the relation to the theme as well.

First game i've given 5 stars for music, being able to play your own music and have the game react to that is great. The graphics were simplistic, with the exception of the visualiser. I don't really see how it fits the theme though. But i have to say given such a short time it's good and you should definately keep working on it.

Really neat game, though it makes me wish any of the music files I had on my computer were .wav instead of every other audio type, haha.
