HEY :) good entry. really liked the shoot animation :D

The idea is good but there are a few little things that could be easily fixed to make the game more enjoyable.

1) at the start if you press forward before the coutdown ends you do not go forward once it reaches 0. (This could have been a design choice but I think it makes the player get hit at the start too often). If you wanted to reward the player for pressing forward just on time you could have given with a little boost

2) When you buy stuff from the shop the counter up left does not update for some reason. I couldn't tell if I was buying stuff until I left the shop and died because I had spent 10 times the amount of cash I had.

3) When you stop pressing forward the car just stops instead of decelarating. This means I can't slow down during a curve. The car stops and the cops can catch up very fast.

If you knew these were problems but didn't have the time to fix them it's totally understandable. I hope you find the feedback to be constructive. And good job on making a racing game with this limited amount of time!

@sangemdoko About your 2nd point, they gun updates, but you may not notice much - the button just gets disabled and the money reduces. If you buy a projectile, the projectile counter increases and money reduces. But you're probably talking about the shield. Sorry guys, I completely forgot about the shield! D: --> Luckily it doesn't waste your money. I'll try to do something about it immediately.
And about your first point, it was a design choice, but I didn't think about giving the player a boost.

I have not really managed to play the vehicle does not move fast enough I get hit very often and it's pretty frustrating ... But the project is done and it's cool

Graphics work well, I actually remember playing a game that had very similar concept and graphics during my childhood. Very nostalgic :)

The sound of the player's car is a bit irritating though :/

Gameplay feels fine, even the cops manage to get pretty close to the player most of the time, which can be very hard thing to achieve.

Sorry, I can't get past the opening. Police just move way too fast and the acceleration of the players car is way too slow. Am I missing something?

Looks like something's wrong with my network. I'm sorry to leave so many identical comments.I tried to delete them, but I failed.

Nice game! THe concept is really good, but it is a bit rough around the edges. It is too hard to get enough money to buy upgrades. After 5 laps I finally got $200 to buy a gun, but I got captured immediately after closing the shop window. I also thing the shield should not have a timer on it, but should dissapear after getting hit, because it's too hard to predict when you're getting shot.

Overall good concept, but it needs some tweaking. Well done!

I was a bit confused at the beginning of starting the car walk only after I realized that only when the counter zero I could click forward to walk cool game the sound of the bay was a little high, very difficult but ok congratulations.

Nice game! Interesting theme, funny and sound art and effects. But the controls needs to be more responsive, otherwise the game is too hard

Thanks for the feedback everyone! If you are not able to start up fast in the start of the game and the police crashes into you, that should give you a small head start after they crash into you as they stop for a little while. And the shield should be used only when you think that the police car is going to hit you as buying the shield itself wastes money. The ball which the police shoots only damages you by 10 points/dollars, whereas the shield costs $50, so it's not worth it.

Yeah, the game was kinda interesting at the beginning, but in the end, it felt really crapy, I really missed some, music and the police sound was just hurting my ears. The controls are nice, but it needs some polish and the police cars are going way to fast. I suggest you add acceleration if the player moves long enough. Graphics were nice.

Sorry guys if the game is too hard, but i had to make it hard or else I felt the player would finish the game too fast. I guess the game seemed easier to me because I kept playing it throughout the development process. Guess i should have dipped it down by a notch.
