Overview

A game made for Ludum Dare 44, the theme was Your Life is Currency.

The basic idea is that Instagram models and photographers make money by oversharing their life and make it look a certain way. So your goal is to take a photo that will get the most viral shares one way or another. And enjoy soothing audio while being judged.

How to play

Objective: take a photo that will be "on brand" for the model. You need to hit the red button at the right time, and can modify some background objects. Or add a filter!

Things that we wanted to get in but didn't have time

  • We were originally way over-scoped trying to get in 5 levels, instead we got in 2 levels
  • Scoring unbalanced
  • Not enough time on the HUD making it feel like a phone ​

Very unique, and the art is cute.
Feedback: Some feedback sounds (like maybe the dog barks if you click on him) and better ui feedback could improve a little.

The art is really well done! I do wish you were able to add in more camera functions into the game other than filter, and take picture. Overall, it was pretty good.

The game is rather large and slow for what it actually contains. I like the artwork and one could make a nice game by developing the idea further

Cool art and music, I had absolutely no idea how to get a good score. I dont know what is off brand because i dont know what the brand is.

Pretty cool art, had some good chuckles, scoring seemed random, couldn't choose to retake the picture, not very much content.

This is a fun idea! I could see it being developed further, with more things to interact with and more filters etc. The UI could definitely use improvement though - the text kind of feels thrown all over the screen. Overall though, awesome work! 😃

I seemed to get the most likes from edgelord, yeah I like keeping pooping dogs in the background.. Fun game! As was already said, it could have potential if developed further.

Nice and original idea ! It's too bad there are just two levels. I don't figure out how to win the second level.
