An interesting fighting system and a nice random map generator. The lack of healing potions during my runs made it harder to get through, but it was fun nonetheless. During all my travels I couldn't seem to find any merchants, either. Are their spawn rates that low?

Thank you guys :).
Double-click to use potion.
Every 20 x 20 chunk should have a merchant.

Was fun to play and great job. Sadly the graphic style is not fitting so much with the map tiles. The detail level of the game is really good. Thumbs up for this JS / HTML5 game.

Really enjoyed the visuals in the fight scenes. The fight system in general was cool. A bit difficult to figure out the controls and how to use items etc. But I had fun. Great job!

Very interesting take on the theme with "currency = mana". Needs tuning on the RNG front, but interesting concept otherwise.

You got a lot of features in here in a short time - really cool! It felt really good to me, but I agree that the terrain tiles didn't match the aesthetic of the other graphics: but besides that, great job!

I was always a fan of RNGs.
The graphical feel is mixed (handdrawn terrain and fancy inventory icons)... But it's ok none the less.

I just found the game to be a bit hard... :/ And tooltips could be a bit better design so that all needed information is visible more easily.

Nice job. Keep up the good work.

The game runs well and the combat is interesting. It would have been nice to have the monsters move a little more to make the combat more challenging. I ended up with a full inventor most of the time because I was getting loot faster than I could sell it. Congrats on your first submission, nice work.

Thank you guys for your feedback. We will try to avoid some mistakes next time

About the fight system. During the fight is percentage chance for stay, move or attack, so it is just need better balanced values or maybe just adjust values according to your gear for better challenge.

About the full inventory. If you find some chest, you can put some items in the chest to get free space and then take other items from it.

Also I think it is better that there is not so much merchants. When you find merchant, you can buy potion, sell items to earn golds and then buy some better gear for it. From merchants your mostly find something that makes playing easier so if you get everything in a minute, it won't be a challenge

It's really impressive what you two managed to pull together in just 3 days.
The mechanics were easy to pick up, however I didn't know I could move during combat scenes until I read your description.
I noticed the monsters changed based on the tiles I were on (like sea monsters on water tiles). I don't know if I was just lucky or if that's built in. If so then that's a nice touch.
I don't know if you made all of the art yourself since you opted out of the Graphics category, but it was nice regardless.
Nice work!

@skylark721 thanks for the kind words, monsters are, indeed, based on the location where you encounter them. Each tile type should have 3 different monsters.
Most of the graphics was bought from the recent humble bundle. As far as i know, only graphics made by ourselves are the tiles which i drew and the logo

I like the Combat system too, It's very hard to see some guy really make an RPG battle system in the LD, I like the old-fashioned graphics, it reminds me of some great memorize, but it lacks some objectives and the lateral system of the items/shop/etc, maybe need more time to build it to a great work! Lovely Music!
