Aipi the little fire is game jam product for ludum dare 44. The theme of ludum dare is "Your Life is currency". So we made a concept about little candle fire that have soul / life. The Fire Soul of Aipi can aspect multiple values of the game like damage and can be used for upgrade power.

@corbak The First Weapon not drained a life but deal damage like the Aipi HP, but second Weapon Deal More Damage but reduce your life.

Aipi is very cute. It is a bit challenging to understand where the boarders of playable area are.

The fire vs ice skin of the game is unique, and the characters are adorable. Unfortunately, I could not find the last enemy in level 2. I was hoping to eventually be an awesomely overpowered ball of flame :)

Cute character and great graphics overall! Didn't get in the beginning that I reached the lower border of the map, maybe you could use their these blue icewalls as in the upper border.

A very pretty and fun game with good take on the theme. The only problem is a lack of visual clues of where the playing field ends on the bottom edges. Enemies get stuck sometimes too.

That's a really neat game with very nice art, though I think making the damage increase the less health the player has (rather than decrease) would have been better, so struggling players have a better chance of bouncing back. It also gives an interesting choice between playing it safe or voluntarily taking damage to increase your attack.

This was a really well made game. The art looks really good, the music was nice, and I really love the implementation of the theme where you are given the choice to have better stats and less life or more life and worse stats. I do want to not that some of the layering visual wise felt off as in some objects looked like they were above other objects when they probably should appear below them. But overall, great job! keep up the work!

Cute game. It's a bit hard to understand how to get past a few shots, though. Your health goes down after each hit, and it seems to me there's not way to recover it. Also, a few lines explaining how the game works would be welcomed. But apart from that, I applaud the effort. Nice job!
