Since the dawn of time, Man do whatever they can to survive in inhospitable places. Leave your mark in the world and immortalize your legacy.

In City of Sand you will play as the engineer who is changing the desert landscape, slicing stones and placing them to build monuments and wonders.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Loved the game concept it can get really delightful if you guys add some incentives (less moves more score, slice stones less core, and stuff...).
The drag mechanic is really immersive, maybe if you add more weight to the stones (so they turn better when we drag from 90° angles) it can get more playful.
Scored 3 until now :v

Thks guys, i will fix now the web version.

@Sakaki We wanted to implement more thing in the game but we had to give a focus on the structures validation program , then got a little tight time ! hehehehe , we decided to leave less bug this release. Thks for feedback!!! \o/

I love the art of this game. It is also very funny how you have to play with physics in order to solve puzzles.

Nice game, controls are good and it feels polished. I'm wondering how you went about the validation algorithm? I had a similar idea but I went with a very simplistic approach because of time constraint (my shape is really basic so I'm just checking for pivots distance)

When I moved the blocks, saw the puff of sand, and heard the collision, while the silhouette of a camel walked by, I felt absorbed! When I visualized the solution and attempted to drag the blocks and they were tilting away at not quite the right angle, I felt a bit frustrated.

@Seizar We defined the minimum size of a block and set up shadows with this minimum with check colliders . It also checks the number of blocks that are touching.

Beautiful. Ergonomic. Easy to take in hand.
Great job guys.
I've notice some problems, the block spawn in front of the pattern, the first I didn't see I have to put a hole somewhere and I was locked.

@ethankennerly We're glad that you felt absorbed, at least for a while! We are not fully satisfied with the controls, but we were running out of time.

Fun game! It may just be us being biased but the art is beautiful.

Awesome job guys!

Absolutely beautiful art and sound for this game. The gameplay seems slightly more lacking as a lot of the difficulty is just trying to get the blocks to do what you want. Other than that it's great!

The graphics are great and the music is so nice. I really liked how you paid attention to the details with the city building up as you created more structures etc. Only problem was the blocks acting up sometimes but thats easily forgiven. Great game!
