thanks a lot <3!

I dont want to know the solution just yet, just wanted to check to make sure it's possible
EDIT: nvm i figured it out
Not to mention the simple but very satisfying graphics and animations (those squishy buttons and player character are awesome). Keep it up mate !
The puzzles got pretty gnarly later on as well. I didn't manage to finish it though, I dunno whether it was just my hardware but I was getting a memory leak on one of the levels, specifically the one you have shown in the post.
Bravo !
The game controls really good and the ability to reverse moves was a nice addition although it did not quite work on laser levels. This game fit the theme very nicely and the overall concept was good!
It could use a better ending and menus, but for a Ludum Dare game it worked well enough. The lack of sounds is a shame, hopefully you will continue working on it and add some!
Overall this is a very nice entry!
Thanks for the kind comments everyone !
The teleporters are a nice way to recover movement in a direction that you sacrificed. and its kinda fun you can drop two keys on a button =p
it was a bit hard to tell which buttons were for doors and which ones were required to toggle the flag, but I had fun playing anyway, and the end was fun touch.
The two puzzles introducing the lasers were kind of random, and the mechanic wasn't used much later. I would have loved some sound effects! The last level seemed impossible, and broke with the usual rules.
Sounds effects would be a great idea, but even without them, I would like to play more of this :)
I also use Firefox (on Linux) though, so it can't be a Chrome issue.
One thing that I stumbled with quite a bit was remembering what switches did what. If they had some color or symbol coordination that indicated their purpose (what doors they open, whether they activate a flag, etc), that would have helped. I wound up quitting on one of the more complex puzzles because my small brain couldn't handle it.
Also something I'm finding myself wanting while reviewing these LD games is for the levels to be named or numbered so I can refer to them or even know how far I am in the game.
It was really great overall though. You should make a quick post-competition version with some sound effects, because I'd love to give it another shot!.

numbered levels is an interesting idea, i'll keep that in mind for next time!
A couple of issue do bring it down for me. Firstly, pressing down scrolls the page down. Secondly, even the slightest sound would add a lot. Even some okay sound effects created in BFXR in 5 minutes would add a tonne.
The difficulty curve also feels very slow. Like the first 5ish puzzles are just the exact same puzzle in different arrangements which, combined with the scrolling issue, made it feel like a bit of a chore.
Despite the issues, this is still a nice idea well executed.
I really appreciate the undo feature, not having to restart the level when I overshoot a block is awesome.
The artsyle is simple but very effiscient, the animation is clear and fluid. and th gameplay idea is very original !
Congrats !
For me, the only ingredients that are missing are sound effects and music.
5 stars anyway ;-)
Congratulations on making this game in such a short amount of time! Did you get the idea from the very start of the jam?
The animations on the main character are really nice too, and we also have new mechanics as the game progresses.
You provided everything we could want in this type of game, great job ! 😄

Nice puzzles, good use of taking away controls. I really like the laser holding the key down, though on one of the puzzles you sort of had to take advantage of undo in order to place the other key down. Nice job!
BTW, you sould rate a couple of games, it doesn't look too good if people are rating you and giving you praise but you didn't rate one yet. (I guess you didn't have time, just pointing it out)
Good luck, the game was really neat! Cheers!
Either way i *have* played other games, mostly friends' entries. i just somehow completely forgot to click the stars
@aeveis thanks! sorry about that, i really have no idea what's causing that. it happened to me only on chrome, so i figured it was either just a chrome thing or just something on my end, apparently not. Haven't found any issues with the windows build, but i'll keep that in mind
You use the theme into the mechanics nicely. I first loved the juicy animation of movement. When I've losed a movement possibilty, the movement doesn't work I was nicely surprised !
