btw really interesting game with cool music and graphic but i think start pistol is too damage full or hero need have hp regeneration from start)

It's fun at start, but after 4th room it became kinda boring - I could headtank 5 of 10 my bullets, so I just loaded 5 of them and pressed q again.

please check out my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/ssss

Super cool! Original idea + nice mash up. Feels super polished too. Don't know if I understood the spell tree fully and took me a few tries to realize that I had to load the gun first, but after 5mins I was way into it. Nice job! (Also, I'd host that file on Itch.io if it were me...)

Top notch execution. The graphics style is amazing. Colors, animations, and details in all those icons. Good job.

Fantastic graphics and gameplay! The idea is solid as well. But after a while I often ended up in those situations where you have only a few HP left and there isn't anything else you can do to regain health except play roulette, with often deadly consequences. Might be intended, who knows. I also have to say the music got annoying after a while.

I found what seems to me as bug - I bought something in the shop, equipped it in my inventory, when suddenly my money went to zero and stopped increasing. Very beautiful game, great sounds and brilliant mash-up idea!

This was wonderful. I loved the concept, definitely a unique one among all the entries. Visuals and audio were on point, I really love everything about it. I find myself (had to take a break to review) just trying again and again to beat the bullet. Fantastic work!

A really unique and interesting mashup of genres.
I love the choice of palette, though at times it does make distinguish the various visual elements hard. Once you get used to the game though, it's fine.

Sound effects could make this a bit more interesting but, the game in itself works just fine without without them.

Overall, I seriously enjoyed this entry. Probably one of the games I really enjoyed. :)

Well that was super fun. Some of the interface was a little confusing as to what it did and had trouble figuring out how to regain mana. But great innovation and you nailed the theme. Impressive how much polish was done on the rpg mechanics in the given time. Great job.

Really interesting concept! I found it quite fun for the first couple of rounds but then it gets a bit repetitive. I had a hard time understanding the smaller text but that might just be me. Awesome graphics though!

It's really fun and gives me some anxiety. I did get stuck at the beginning when I opened the shop and didn't see the close button. I think it might not stand out. I also thought clicking outside the UI panel would close or pressing escape.

Once I was able to get past that I had a blast!

Loved the core concept, taking a pure luck-based system and adding ways to tweak chances in your favor created a very interesting experience. Played quite a few times. Feels good to try new strategies and you really nailed how to build up tension before every trigger.

Super well done, original and polished :-)

Maybe the most succinct praise I can give this game is that I keep coming back to play it some more when I should be rating other games. :P There's just enough strategy to keep me wanting to experiment, while still having enough luck that I keep losing anyway, lol. Impressively well balanced for how little time you had to test it, and of course great art. :) I did have a little trouble figuring out what to do at first -- like, literally what I was supposed to click on to get the game going -- but once I found the gun interface the rest clicked into place immediately. Great work!

Wow! Great game. Awesome visuals. I'd love to hear some music change when interacting with the gun, both loading and firing. But obviously it's a jam! The gameplay is addicting and the art is super well done! <3

So gooood! The art is absolutely gorgeous and the gameplay seems to be incredibly deep - perhaps a little too difficult at the beginning - and very addictive. I think the music is a little bit too light and cheerful. I guess it is quite a humorous concept, but something more tense might be better. Really great overall though, incredible work!

It's like you took the basic roguelike idea of strategically pushing your luck and thrown out all the unnecessary stuff like monsters and traps. And then made a good game from it. Damn well done.

Talk about "just one more turn"...

I always love Team FQ games, you guys make consistently great games that push design boundaries. This game is no exception. At first I was pretty turned off by the full RNGness of the game, but after I explored the skill trees and equipment I realize you can hone it the way you want. It also gives the player a chance to customize the game based on how much of a risktaker they are. Addictive entry that kept me playing for a very long time (still trying to beat it).

Hey! I played this on stream it was really great! :open_mouth:

I loved the mechanic of using a medieval rpg with russian roulette, genius combination of themes.

The skill trees and the level of detail and polish in the inventory, map and skill trees blew my mind. :open_mouth:

One thing that I found pretty unforgiving was that attaching new HP+ helmets doesn't add the extra hp on top of your character but just increases the max health.

Other than that, wow again.. - Had immense fun thank you for making it!

You pretty much nailed the theme. Art is really good, the only problem is distinguishing AI elements at the start before you get used to it. The music was also nice. I really loved the idea and the implementation was mostly well done besides a few bugs and balancing issues.

I really missed a tutorial in the beginning, had to try a lot of times to understand what I was supposed to do and then figure out some stuff with the skills. The one that doubles the reward of the next shot and the foresight one are swapped (I don't remember if just the sprite or the description as well).

At first it seemed the game was really hard but after getting the hang of it and a bit of pure luck I became pretty much immortal and was a bit bored grinding xp for the sake of it. The dominoes are really OP and the foresight skill is easily exploitable. If you click again to spin the cylinder, it will count and you lose the buff. If you just open the gun and put the bullets again, you can use it ad infinitum.

Equips were cool and added to the humor, specially the frog hat (despite I not having gone for this build).

Also would be really nice if it saved your progress.

Besides those issues this was an amazing entry and one of my favorites in LD41. Keep up the good work. = ]
