The level of graphical polish is impressive! I love the gameplay, too, a nice balance of platforming skill and puzzle solving. The audio is good, but some background music would really help make it feel finished.

Liked the effects. Not a new idea, but done it very well. One thing I didn't like was the font, I barely could read it. Overall, nicely done!

I really like this idea and the way you implimented the projectiles were simple while making it very fun! I think that if you have more time you could make more levels, this game has great potential.

I love the artstyle, it looks polished, some particle effects are really cool (: This "sacrifice yourself" mechanic was really fun! It fits the theme in a way I haven't thought of. The only thing I regret is that the game is short, but I know what Ludum Dare is x) Congrats on finishing this cool game! :D

Fun, polished game! The movement felt predictable and controllable, which is always great for a game which requires platforming precision.
The little audio that the game had was nice and supported the game's overall aesthetic. I have to agree with @acoto87 though that the font was difficult to read, and maybe also not very fitting for the game's minimalistic appearance.

I would have loved to see some more experimentation with the basic premise of the game though. Your levels seem to ramp up quite heavily on the platforming side, while I would have loved to see some more puzzle elements. But, I understand that level design and puzzle mechanics are hard to come by in 48 hours. ;)

Nice entry.

Yep - we did have the same idea, yet very different looking games. Nice one!

Really like the idea, this could easily became a commercial game, the art style is simple but very well done, i think that adding some music/ambience could have boosted a lot the mood for this game, good job overall!

Simple, fun, self-explanatory, well executed, good looking. Something like that I would easily buy for nintendo switch.

Ugh, those missiles... You could make them be able destroy the duplicubes on 3-5 hits, so the player need to make more beforehand or if he/she is not fast enough. Here is my playthrough:

Hi @joewan thanks for this game.
Overall I enjoyed the game but after some time it started to get a bit repetitive.
I think you will be rated very well on the whole ascetics of the game.

Great game! Simple and well made, although it took me quite a while to get through some levels. haha

The idea to use death or corpses to create platforms is not new, but I found the way you use it very fresh. I was pleasantly surprised ^^ I also liked the minimalistic esthetic. The only problem I found was the difficulty: the level design in itself is fine, but if you make just one mistake (like creating a platform in the wrong place) you have to do the level all over again. To alleviate that, you could have created shorter levels, or a mean to undo previous actions.

HTML version doesn't work :( I'm stuck on the menu with no cursor and neither WSAD or arrow keys will let progress. Looks gorgeous though!!

Nice platformer! I included it in my compilation video series of games from the Ludum Dare, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/qbVCRHP5Rcg

I liked the idea and how you can fell it in the second level, trying to die to go on ... the cliff was a bit too long for me, had to die lots of times to get to the end.

Really cute and nice game. A bit frustrating (in a good way) in some parts. I wish there were more levels because it was really fun. 10/10

This was a great entry! The minimalist design mixed with the charming (albeit frustrating at times) puzzles makes it an excellent game. Well done!

I made it!

I saw the game on MorgStream twitch channel and gave it a try right away. Visual style is consistent and gameplay is amazing for such a short dev time. I wished for more levels at the end though.

Well done, of the best rated games by me for sure!

Brilliant, I absolutely love this game. It's very polished and fun to play. The first level I thought "well that's too easy" and then you totally changed that by introducing the missiles. Really well done! I enjoyed playing it.

Nice a smart game. Want more levels!

(next time I played a patformer, I will try to get shoot, it's the best thing to avoid bullets...)

It's a shame that there are only 4 levels! the things were start to get interesting! By the way lovely implementation of the theme, loved the sound and the minimalistic graphic style. The gameplay is fluid and it's not too frustrating. Good entry! :)

I like the shooting mechanic. you gived extra interest to a common idea for this theme. Graphics are simple but great. I enjoyed the game, develop more stages and make an app for mobiles!!

Really cool game, although the missiles in last level were a bit annoying until I figured out a way to finish this level. I think you could tweak the speed of missiles to make them feel better, maybe make them a bit faster or slower I don't know .

Also really great simplistic artstyle and audio.

The graphics are simple but they look great. I had seen a couple of games that used the "use your corpse as a platform" mechanic, but the missiles thing was a nice touch that gave it a different spin. The jump felt a little clunky and i had a couple of unfair deaths, but i enjoyed the game and would've love to see more mechanics. Good job!

Simple platformer with good implementation of the theme. It was fun to play, until these damn bullets wouldn't let me pass some levels XD These are really difficult to hit :3
