Respect the life, don't extinguish the animals on your way to the castle. Build bridges to cross the water. Everything has a purpose, don't mess with the balance because everything is connected. startscreenen.png

Very good game, I had difficulty recovering health, I killed two rabbits but didn't recover any HP, but other than that it seems rather good, Jaguars are really the only threat, waiting for resources to re-spawn can be a little tedious.

Bonus points for supporting a gamepad and adding an additional language

I found this title interesting, and played through it a couple times. My biggest issue with the game is the best way, is to play is to leave it idle for a bit of time; for me personally, that was not fun. If perhaps there were another mechanic that you could do while waiting for animals to respawn; alternatively maybe if they respawned in a different way. (Maybe jaguars pop up in high densities of rabbits, rabbits propagated faster when there was many.) I would say I spent a solid 60+% waiting for respawns because I'd run low on food and had to wait for enough rabbits to spawn around me, to keep up the balance.

It would have also been nice if you had different ways to get to the castle; but if you allowed bridges to be building together on 2 wide spaces you could get to the castle much earlier. Minor issue, and doesn't really affect your first play-through.

Overall I did enjoy the title, it made me come back a couple times to get the best ending I could. I found the artwork to be cohesive and I liked the aesthetic; I feel the music also fit quite well with the game.

Very interesting game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)
