I saw your game on Tim's stream and I found it so awesome that I want to play it myself. One problem, though: maybe I'm missing something, but your itch.io page says the game is available for Linux, but the ZIP file (Linux_v7.zip) seems to only contain the Windows build.
The voice acting is awesome! Does the game watch what you do and give you speech accordingly? E.g. when Tim started to jump around, it said „we want you hopping like a bunny” or something, maybe it was not a coincidence. ;) Actually, I want to play the game to hear those lines!
I managed to escape, but it took A LOT of tries. This was a really fun game, and had great humor throughout (seemed like a blend of Portal and Saw).
Definitely challenging though, and the turret are brutal.
One thing I noticed though is buying the 150 or 300 tiles didn't seem to do much, if anything.
My strategy ended up being to buy 75 tiles once I hit 14 lemons to give myself a semi-reset before the turrets came out. Then I just prayed I could find the 10 before getting sniped or panicking and falling lol.
Idea for later - maybe have oranges or another citrus show up once the turrets come that stun them for a time?
Overall, a really fun and challenging game.
Also, you have it marked as windows/mac/Linux, but the download only has a windows version in it.
The game looks good and is fun to play, but it's a lot harder than it seems. I didn't manage to reach the end
Also, I find it very cool that you manage to use a simple idea with a simple lemon to make an absolutely addictive game. Like I really wanted to play it again to see what would actually happen, when I reached 25 lemons. Only got to 15 though and then the security alarm stopped me from continuing, so ... not sure if it is possible to reach 25. ^^
Oh, yeah, I found out about the buying of tiles pretty late and kinda had decided to play the next game then. But I will be back - you challenged me!!

Awesome game, one of my favorites yet! I enjoyed the humor behind the dialogue, the concept was simple yet fun and enjoyable, and overall it was a great time! I loved how the turrets came out when you got to 15 lemons, it provided a nice change of pace. I do wish there were more changes as time went on, like maybe lasers you had to avoid or things that came out and chased you or something else like that to change up the gameplay. I also found that the 6 and 9 lemon purchases really weren't necessary, I only ever used 3 lemon purchases, simply because all the other ones really did was make the game longer. Overall well done, I had a blast!
I wasn't able to beat the game on stream, but as you know from the stream, my son was determined to do it. I'm a few days behind on writing out the comments here, and this technically doesn't count as streamer beating it, but hopefully he was the first to do it lol.
**spoilers** (link to image he took after beating it on 08/16 https://imgur.com/7TFDUZ6).
