Quite fun, and I love the snowfall graphics in the background! Easy to play end entertaining

Really like the mood you set with the snow flitting across the scene and the audio. Found it a bit hard to keep playing and read at the same time, maybe a VO would've helped? Combat felt good and smooth but I didn't grasp the cool down effect right away. Overall I found it enjoyable.

That's a 5 in mood for me, spectacular. The reloading mechanic is a classic, but it really fits the frantic nature of the game at the end. The sound was also fantastic, great job !

Lovely game, took me a bit of time to get the "reload?" mechanic under control but its great once you get the hang of it!

A story well told, kind reminds me of The Walking Dead season 1 (game) mixed with 'Richard & Alice'. Gameplay is challenging and im glad that there are checkpoints and shifts speeds game up. It's impressive that you have done all assets and mechanics in such a short game, congratz!

Amazing game! The graphics and audio were absolutely perfect, and the dialogue, though minimal, told a great story. The gameplay also really fit the mood, as the reload mechanic made it really stressful. This is one of the best games I've seen in this jam so far!

Great job, at first I was a little frustrated because I did not know how to shoot, but after I learned I took it to the end, the sounds very well worked, the animations too, the atmosphere of the game very good. I really liked it.

Super atmospheric game. The snow effect, the are less and less trees as the level progress, the wind sound effect and the guitar music at the background all worked together nicely. I'm very impress at the mood you have created.

The gameplay is a bit simple but works well in the context. The reloading mechanics is a bit confusing at first. Took me a while to understand how to use the reloading mechanics properly. One thing though, even though the main character keep saying that he/she is losing power, the game play didn't really reflect that (or did I miss it completely)

The story is interesting but I felt a bit left unexplained. Like why this person is trying to save this baby girl, why he send her to the witch, why the witch just leave him/her to die? A bit more story would feels better in my opinion.

Overall, nice game! Good job.

Amazing game, very polished and atmospheric. You made it look like it wasn't made in 48 hours. Good job!

Game mood is outstanding! Simple and nice mechanics can make you feel desperate if don't reload on time. Very good storytelling and graphs! One of my bests LD#39 games so far! 5/5 great entry, congratulations!

Great story telling and atmosphere. Sometimes simple mechanics told in a specific way are just that much more powerful. Nice work.

Nice ambiance. Doesn't forgive mis-clicks, but that's OK because we don't have to restart from the start. Cool audio. Is there a story behind the story ? Well done.

TOP 5 Compo game, in my humble opinion,

There are so many things well made that I dont know where to start, the art is amazing, beautiful, some many assets, and animations and everything so well made. Beautiful, and the snowfall it just perfect.

The audio is very good, a good song at the beggining and at the end, a great wind ambience sound, and great sounds for the enemies, the shoot sfx could be better, not that dry, but who cares, this is a compo game made in 48 by one person, it is so impressive.

The theme I could not relate to the jam them, but the connection maybe is a man very tired (running out of power) or maybe the shoot, that he cannot shoot all the time, but anyway the story is so good, great job.

This game is so well made, and really impressive for a compo game, amazing job, it really standout from what I have seen so far, great job !

Parabens, é muito legal ver um BR mandando bem assim, sensacional ver devs br fazendo jogos foda, um dos meus preferidos até agora, parabens !

lovely progression! the art is great, and the bright colors contrasted with the white snow and otherwise desaturated palette make them easy to see and stops the screen from getting confusing (there are times when the bodies littering the ground become a mess, but that's intentional and different.) i can see where the theme is but it's a bit of a reach to me. looking at running out of power from an emotional angle is interesting, but i think it needs to be pushed further. however, the mood is wonderful, and the audio helps a lot with that. making anything in 48 hours alone is a challenge, but making something with narrative even more so! impressive overall.

Beautiful! Definitely did a good job of evoking a mood! I feel like sometimes I missed a line that was said while I was concentrating on fighting (not completely sure, but felt like I was reading the second half of a thought... or maybe I forgot the first half by then...), so would have been better to space narration slightly farther from the fighting. Also would have been nice to be able to move with the mouse (right click?), so I could have a hot cup of cocoa in my other hand to really get in the mood! Gameplay was simplistic, but still felt pretty good. I did die once (I was horribly afraid I'd have to start over at the beginning, and therefore would have just quit playing), and was happy to not have to redo much at all, and was happy that I died, tricking my mind into thinking there was at least some challenge being overcome ;).

Awesome game, really atmospheric and moody. The only thing I wanted different was a crossbow sound with more oomph but otherwise this is a solid entry!

Really nice game. The film grain and snowfalling effects were very awesome, especially paired with the melancholy guitar. I did find a bug where you can mash click to rapid-fire the shooting, which definitely diminished the tension for me.

Like the mood and atmosphere. Nice fit with the theme. Not sure if there is an end or if it is endless. Nice job.

- Simple predictable controls = good.
- Very strong atmosphere.
- Graphics are good.
- Audio is very fitting to the mood.
- I'm very glad there are checkpoints, I think it would spoil the mood if the game had to be started over.

I don't really have much to add to what others have said. Good job!

The mood was perfect and I was very interested in the story. I feel like the timed reload you added made the combat significantly more engaging than if you were just pointing and waiting. Overall, great work. My only complaint is that it felt a bit slow, although that's probably because I kept dying.
