Rent for Life by Iferit

Real estate is a precious commodity, even in Hell...
... and when your landlord is the ruler of the Damned, you better pay up!
In "Rent for Life", you play as Skully McSkull the Reaper (Skully for short) who has not always been the most prompt in paying his bills, but he's a pretty OK tenant. He takes modest care of his humble ~~shack~~ home in his own corner of Hell, raising his loving canine companion. So when the Landlord of Hell approaches you with threats of eviction, Skully better get back to collecting the local currency: the souls of the living.
This top down 3-D game will send you to the mortal world where you will race against time to collect the souls of the living! A grim responsibility, yes, but your fiery homeland doesn't run on rainbows and kittens (unfortunately). Do your best to keep up your rent payments, or face the wrath of your landlord...

First attempt, I was experimenting the game, and the controllers, it took time, so I only collected 3 lives, but then the boss came and say I disappointed him, i then noticed that there were timer counting. So in the following attempt i focused on collecting 10/10 lives, and I did at the last couple of seconds, but the big guy said I disappointed him again.. I kept trying, but he always say I'm disappointing him, so I assume there is something broken in the game loop/logic.
I would recommend you show the controls at the main menu, may be making the UI larger, specially the time so I can see it, may be the countdown timer make sound of ticking at least when your time is near an end.
The souls/people, might need to be more at first, at least at first time to play, so player don't need to keep walking more just to reach one person in the middle of no where. Also fixing navigation will be nice, as the people used to walk through the fountain.

@mamoniem Thanks so much for trying out our game and for your thorough review! These are great suggestions and we are planning on implementing a fix for the points you have mentioned. Regarding the scoring, this is a known bug, if your score count reaches 0 when he is deducting the souls, you lose, even if you got 10/10. You will need to get 11+/10 to actually pass.
