splash_screen.png ---About---

You are the boss monster of a dungeon. Heroes come after you in hopes of collecting the bounty on your head. Manage your dungeon by adding enemies and rooms to defeat the heroes. Don't, at all costs, let a hero enter your room!

Screenshot (14).png ---How to play---

Place monsters in rooms by dragging and dropping them into one of three positions: the left side, right side, or middle of the room.

Made a little error in my links (whoops), the link for the Windows version of the game is accidentally the source code link, but you can get the Windows .zip file by navigating outside the SourceCode directory into the superdirectory LudumDare44: https://github.com/TheMashupMann/LudumDare44/tree/master/

Great concept, so far, was the most creative idea I saw. The game is very good, the art is very good, but I felt that sometimes it turns out to be a bit monotonous, maybe if the player could perform some action during the rounds, solve this feeling (push a button, trigger some trap, collect coins or something). Overall, it's a wonderful game, congratulations for the great work.

I really liked this one and I see a lot of potential if you were to continue development. Art is great and gameplay is engaging. Very well done!

Great little game, I love the gameplay and concept! The art is amazing.
Some music and sound effects would have gone a long way, but time is always an issue.
I found the game was easy, and then ramped to silly hard when I got goblins. As stated above, it would be nice to be doing something during the rounds.
Keep it up!

@wigner-matos Thank you, creative was what I was hoping for! I do agree that it feels a little monotonous, and I did have the ideas that you mentioned, it just unfortunately came down to time constraints.

@khamekaze Thanks, I do agree that this has a lot of potential, hopefully I will revisit this idea in the future and flesh it out more.

@furtive-pygmy I put a lot of effort into the art, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! I would've liked to add sound and music if I had a couple more hours. And I agree with the difficulty, but because playtesting took so long I couldn't properly balance the game. There's actually another monster that is unlocked past round 10 but I didn't have the time to make sure it's actually possible to make it that far haha.

Great game! I got to round 19 before stopping to rate. It's solid but the gameplay got a bit stale after I put a demon in all zones 3 times. After that it was a case of dropping one in when one died. Of course this is something you'd make given extra time, so you could think about how to spice up the gameplay during the later rounds. It's quite addictive, well done

Good game! It would be more prominent than other tower defense games if the sows could have forks. Besides, it would be useful to speed up the time. Good luck

It felt like a standard defense game. Place units, fend off waves, repeat. It got boring after awhile. I'm not sure what the difference between the two units were, so I wound up just spamming the goblin over and over again as soon as one died, until I got overwhelmed.

Lack of audio also contributed to the tedium, I think. Having some background music would help things feel less boring.

The graphics looked good, and I didn't notice any bugs, so the execution was solid.

Really dig the artstyle and drawings. The game is fun too! But as people said having some things to spice things up would be nice. Anyway, congrats on the game!

@adam-clayden thanks for playing that far, let alone making it that far!

@falak thanks, I did think of that before making it but then that would've taken more time that I didn't have.

@joshanthony1990 the difference between the two units are the goblin has higher health and attack power than the skeleton. And I would have absolutely added some audio if I had a couple more hours.

@gerardb thank you for playing!
