SUNLESS by pell707
"Jump around to turn on the sun, sounds fun doesn't it?'
Sunless is a puzzle-platformer about small planets with minimalistic and captivating graphics, the game manages to maintain itself fun by using simple puzzle mechanics and presenting itself in 3 completely different levels :) This is our first time participating in a Jam and it was blast! Thank you all for tunning by and making this even more memorable for us! :)

i'll try to improve that cave collision later :)
My favourite part was the ability diamonds, limiting basic abilities like jumping higher or attacking to specific locations, locations designed/chosen to be part of the level design! Really great stuff, although seemingly simplistic! This kind of thinking should be in every game, period!!
The art is simple and cute (love that look the character gives you when standing still), the colors are good, the song loop works and has interesting instrumentation and potential...
I was impressed by this game, and I would love to see this concept developed in the future! Congratulations!
I think the only thing that annoyed me little was accidentally going through the doors when I didn't want to, and having to remember to jump over them. Especially on the last level when on a timer :) Maybe a button (like up for instance) to go through doors?
Nice style and mood. Had fun!
I was going to say something abut the doors, but it seems everybody has said it already :p.
It was more fun than expected. The visual were very cute and I loved the extra details, like your character looking at you when you are not moving (n_n).
I also liked how you "discover stuff", specially when you find out what the diamonds do and then try to find out everything.
Oddly enough, the music makes the game creepier than I expected. It was odd, but interesting, makes you think there is more to it than what you are looking at, story-wise.
Not bad for a first jam! Keep up the good work!
