The jam version isn't finished, we'll surely release a post jam version
- The game is a Rogue like mixed with Dance dance revolution mechanic, 1 - 4 players local coop, with gamepad support, French and English languages.

Synopsis: Everything was going as it’s supposed to be in Tempo-City when, coming from nowhere, an army of monster appeared. Nobody could explain what happened ! Not even the city’s wizard, who couldn’t do anything to stop the creatures. He needs time to study them, he needs samples from them. But he can’t do that all by himself ! So he called the best musicians et Dancing Stage champions (those famous japanese arcade games where you dance on arrowed platforms) to help him in this quest !

But this game is insane, how did you manage to create such a massive world under this time limit? The only problem I had was that sometimes enemies would cover up the music arrows i.e. I couldn't see what I was supposed to input. Other than that I would say this is a finished product! YOu could easily release this today. Good job!
Check ours too https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/mechasnek :)
:grin: It's simple but not boring, can feel a little at the beginning making it more appealing to keep playing.
:v: I'm just a fan now, hope to know more about your development process.
One minor point, but I did find the whole world honestly a bit too big. It felt like I was just wandering about most of the time, and since it's honestly easier to just dodge enemies then to try to fight them, I kind of stopped playing the rhythm part of the game which is the best part.
I was also initially a bit shocked and confused by the boss transitions in the dungeons because they happened so sudden. Some form of indication would have been nice.
Anyway that's all minor polish stuff. All in all this game is very well polished. Great stuff!
What I loved:
* The artwork, music & general style of it
* The shopping mechanic surprised me, I figured I just had to slay monsters :D
* The dungeons
* multiple player support??? controller / keyboard layout????
My thoughts
* Felt a little weird at first
* Why the french :smile:
Overal fucking awesome submission. I really appreciate the work you put in it. Please do checkout my submission as well!

I really engoyed with visuals, audio, game mechics. All thing works together and very big work done within 72h, I really see, dudes! Multiplayer mode and AI - very impressive.
Very very love locations transitions.
Have beat game two times and have some thoughts:
1) Dungeons not challanging. Every enemy pack too low even for start. I suppose enemys level, count and amount of waves have to scale of player's level.
2) Minimap is cool but not show shops - this thing big cons. And it be useful to close empty shops.
3) Can't got all content... First run I have clean only forest and zoo. Then beat the colorful smelling thing and have finished the game. Second run I specially don't kill these things and clean forest, zoo and half of sewer BUT! UNPREDICTABLE meet these thigs inside regular dungeons. What the hell is this? Game forces me to complete? REALLY DISLIKE THIS THING. This kills awesomeness of the game for at half, or more than half. I very dislike when can't investigate every corner and collect every item.
Anyway great work...
It's fun, albeit a bit repetitive, I can see it work with a bit more content. Love the color palette.
Hope to see this been expanded into a more complete game, possibly a commercial release if you guys want.
Good job 😉 !
(also can't wait for The Mind Sword :D)
Awesome game :)
Well...there is certainly a lot of STUFF in this game. I think with all the time that went into the content you could have scoped it down and clean the experience up a little bit so that the gameplay has a bit more depth and walks you through things a bit more. The difficulty was pretty easy with one player. I got one of each color of hearts and then went back to the wizard and stopped (no game end). Minimap was the worst purchase, it didn't show me anything! But money was plentiful anyways, luckily.
Also, please turn on vsync for your fullscreen mode! The screen tearing is a bit annoying :) Also! I know I'm super weird, but I actually have a 5:4 aspect ratio and your screens aren't really letterboxed correctly -- particularly the opening narration sequence.
This seems like it could become a super fun multiplayer game :D
Very well done :D
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.
